I have a question for anyone who might be able to answer. Is the hand gesture for si one of the ones that is rude for women to do? I would like to be able to know if I can essentially sign "yes" to someone if they are farther away from me especially if we are wearing masks.

The "no seas p*to" thing is offensive and if our generation doesn't learn to change that it will never change. And FYI "Let's go eating" doesn't make sense. You would say let's go eat. It's confusing though because you could say "let's go running" like vamos a correr or "let's go dancing" for vamos a bailar. I guess it just depends on the activity. I'm glad I found your channel. Adopté algunas, especialmente la palma abierta hacia la cara para indicar gracias y meñique y pulgar por tomar una bebida. Comenzaré a usar el aplauso de la mano para "vámonos", pero sobre todo usaré las manos en circulos para indicar antes y después. Ese será realmente útil. Transmiten las alegres y divertidas amistades que veo frecuentemente aquí. Es divertido verlo. Gracias For three years now I have been living in Mexico and I see many of these gestures. I have adopted some, especially the palm open to the face to indicate thanks and pinkie and thumb for having a drink. I will begin to use the quick clap of the hand for "let’s go", but above all I will use the hands rolling to indicate before and after. That’ll be really helpful. You show the cheerful and fun friendships I often see here in Mexico. It’s fun to watch you. Thank you.

I'm currently translating an article on Mexican Manners and it talks all the time about the gestures Mexican people make, and I couldn't understand all of them just by reading their description. This video has helped me so much! Gracias! There's still one gesture I couldn't figure out. It's described as follows: "Making a scissors sign with the fist and second finger means you are cutting some one in the back." If anyone could help me out with that one I'd very thankful.
