Gettysburg is a great town. I've been living here for about 6 years now and I love it. Baltimore is about an hour and a half and York is maybe 40 minutes tops. So I don't know how you're getting to these places, but try a different route. I would suggest to anyone considering moving to Gettysburg to do it. You won't be sorry.

I lived in Gburg back in the early 2000 loved it. me and the GF are planning to move back in say 2 years give or take. As a reenactor & foodie got plenty to do. Also once your considered a local and you really get to know people it's great. yeah the commute to work can suck (i was working in VA)

It’s a nice town and perfect for a getaway vacation. Lancaster and Harrisburg about an hour away

I live in Baltimore. We can be in Gettysburg in 50 minutes, not 2 hours.

Gettysburg is my favorite spiritual spot on earth. I've been going there for over 30 years and I'm going back again next week, taking advantage of lower hotel rates. I would live there in a heartbeat. BTW, York is only 26 miles away, not an hour, and you seem to repeat yourself constantly in this video. Basically, this video seems like clickbait. There are no reasons NOT to live in Gettysburg, as far as I'm concerned.

it's a great place to live if you want a mix of bedlam and solitude. It's a small town with a medium-sized city. I would recommend, though, that people stop moving here. All that's nice about it will be destroyed 🙂
