Little idea for next time: Why not just tie little colored ribbons or something on the pieces to mark who's is who's? That way you can avoid the "Wait, is that mine?" moments in a much more efficient way. Sure, the little print out is nice but with colored ribbons (or stickers, or rubber bands, there's options here) people would be able to instantly identify if it is their piece or not. Just da birb's two cents ^v^
