I had to drive over two hours one way and back for my mom’s 70th birthday on Sunday! The woman in the floral pants seems like a decent person. I don’t know how she is behind the scenes, but she seems pretty humble and took in the feedback with grace. I think she said certain things to the men because she didn’t know what to say and maybe to save face. I think I probably would have done the same in her position. I hope she doesn’t feel broken or saddened by the experience. I think if she took off the glasses and wore a more flattering outfit, she probably would have not had everyone pop. But something about the combination of the thick-rimmed glasses, nude top that made her shoulders look larger, pants, and open toe heels… did not mesh. I think she would have looked pretty in a flowy skirt or dress that goes below her knees & blouse.
