After laughing for a good few seconds and composing myself I just realized.....why wasn't her car locked. Am I the only one who locks a car when leaving said car

It's Canada. People don't even lock their houses or anything. Even banks don't have safes. Theoretically, anyone could rob everything at any time.

My husband habitually locks the car the instant he's out of it. He's locked me in or out before, and it was really annoying. I grew up in the country where the only thing we locked was the gates on the animal pens because those little beggars could break out of Alcatraz if you didn't take precautions.

ArtisticAsian1014 I probably shouldn't say this but I have accidentally left my car unlocked all night in the driveway on a couple of occasions and don't realize it until the next day. And I'm a huge horror fan so I should know better and be more careful. LOL

Depends on the area. Where Im from we lock everything all the time. Just got in the car, lock the door. Going to be back in 2 seconds, lock the door. Its what we all do here. My out of state family doesnt lock anything. When I was driving their car I automatically locked the door when I got out, they come back and asked me why I would do that? It was so strange for them to think I would lock the van in daylight when we were only going to be gone an hour or so.

I played a prank on my wife. She was 'late' so she took a test. It showed only one line ( not preggers) and she was relieved. We both went off to work. I arrived back before her and took the test out of the bin. I cracked it open, took a blue pen and a ruler, drew a second line and put the thing back together. When she got back, 'What's this?' as I showed it to her. 'Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit! How can that be? It was one line this morning. Oh, fuck, fuck, fuck. No, no, no.' I then told her. Later, when I woke up in hospital ...

I was on my laptop past midnight and all the lights were off. I heard extremely soft creaking footsteps, despite my headphones being on. My younger sister sneaked up behind me and flipped her long hair forward so all I saw was a black, unidentifiable figure standing behind me, and I punched her square on the face (not too much force so there was not even a bruise). Like, as I turned, I knew it was her, but I still punched her.

You can watch Matt in the second episode of Season 22 of Halifax Comedy Festival on CBC Gem: gem.cbc.ca/media/halifax-comedy-festival/s22e02
I think that maybe in the USA, she could have killed her husband, and even if it was later all clear that it was all just a prank, not only she'd be found not guilty by action on self-defense, but she could well receive a medal or something.

I know that this is a comedy routine, but once you surrender everything to your wife's perspective and acknowledge nothing of your own, you will be in an increasing world of hurt. If your life is actually otherwise--please stop playing to "popular" media-supported stereotypes. Again I know that this is a comedy routine--but please stop supporting stereotypes in which everyone should be accountable to each other, regardless of gender or other criteria--thanks!
