The gateman at the Temple Gate was making it up. The Inns of Court are full of tourists taking photos and videos every summer. There's lots of fantastic architecture to see and it's regularly used by film companies. You made the mistake of asking permission.

Weird situation at Temple. I walked around there filming and nobody said a word. Meanwhile the security guards went mental at some Chinese tourist also with cameras who were doing weird stuff like climbing on walls etc

You can freely enter temple bar, you can't go on the 2nd floor though. You can buy tickets for a guided tour though. The no right of way sign is for the temple part.

I work in the security sector, and have done 18 years. Round the back of Liverpool Street station to be precise. I do find these videos quite entertaining, let's be honest we all watch them for the interaction with clueless security guards. The title of this video is very misleading tbh. The building manager clearly did not raise his voice. It's not the first time the channel's host has used the same method to antagonise the people, obviously that's the whole point. It's a shame he feels it is necessary to push people's buttons for views. The majority of the guards just wanna make a living, and are also pushed by their building managers to confront him. These 2 guys could have got bollockin from their boss because he felt belittled. They're better off being polite and humouring the guy. That way he hasn't got a title for the video. Without the Confrontation, perhaps there would be far less views. I found it interesting in a video I viewed a couple of weeks back, a cyclist confronted the host, it didn't go down too well. Day in day out he goes out of his way to piss people off, he didn't like the taste of his own medicine. Buuuut, I do shamefully enjoy the content. Come on security guards, pull your socks up!! Edit, just watched the rest of it. Who does he think he is raising his voice to me, 😂 what? He didn't do any such thing!! You shouldn't be so sensitive in your line of work! Also, on the da lights, they've got countries of da world. Surely cities dude. Gotta love him.
