I totally agree! There’s places I’ve traveled that had so many cool/fun things that were aligned with my interests-but I would never feel good/comfortable there. Definitely a “nice to visit, wouldn’t want to live there” situation! Meanwhile, I moved to a place where I had no choice/didn’t visit before, and was worried because it would be bad because it did NOT align with my interests/principles, etc…. but I ended up feeling very comfortable/at home, despite my qualms, haha I do feel fortunate that my north node’s in 3rd, so I usually just make myself at home within my immediate surroundings 😅

You know, it seems like there is a lot more in play than trying to find the perfect place astrologically, as you mentioned. It seems as though there are karmic and spiritual influences beyond our knowing, for the most part. I’ve been living in a small town with my husband for over 3 decades. In some respects it suites us and other respects it definitely does not. If I really put my attention on suitable places during meditation, it doesn’t go anywhere but here for the time being. In fact a few years ago, the image I got during meditation was a sunroom my husband built that we weren’t contemplating building at the time. I think too, if you’re sharing a space with a significant other and/or have children, all that comes into play. I think of all the displaced peoples of the world who definitely aren’t in their perfect places. I do enjoy your’ youthful exploration and sharing of your’ knowledge though…. Happy travels😍

Interesting,. I lived in a place that was drop dead gorgeous, but I never felt connected to it. It made me melancholic when passing on roads into town.

Interesting. I lived in Germany as an American for 20 years and the first 10 or so years, I didn’t like the vibe…but the second 10 years I had the greatest time of my life and met my husband. So…county vibes or country horoscopes can change, as does ours.

Also I would suggest to also look at aspects in your chart such as squares and oppositions. It's very important in relation to your astrocartography chart

I've found that whenever I'm in a place that has ley lines, the vibe of the land feels gorgeous and serene to me. But in some of these places I hated the town, or I didn't like the people I met. In one case, I lived on a farm that had the most incredible, peaceful energy coming through the land, and I learned it was because of ley lines. But there was a group of people living on the land, and it was all drama and pettiness! And the nearest towns were both really awful, with nothing walkable and almost nothing of use. With regard to my astro chart, I've been living near my Mercury line for years, with nothing but trines and sextiles from other planets, including a beautiful aspect from Venus. Venus is crossing the Moon's nodes at a close latitude, and nothing at all negative. And yet, nothing has manifested for me here. I'm a writer, editor, and teacher, so that Mercury line should be golden for me. But I feel like I've been stuck in an energetic hole for eight years. I'm moving to my Mars line, which I'm hoping will give me some rocket fuel to move my life forward.

My venus line goes through Berlin Germany, I went there twice but it wasn't for me at all. It may be the parans but still there isn't a perfect place anyway.
