​@@fredxu99No clue how Furina's kit works but Empyrea, when she released a year ago, and we didn't have Lee and Namecha, effectively WAS THE ENTIRE FIRE TEAM. She does everything, deals a shitton of AoE damage, has time stop, heals and gives fire damage buff when switched out

​ @raveelemental4928 Furina summons some minions that do really high amounts of constant damage, and her ult provides a giant teamwide buff that scales based on how much HP your team loses or gains. Only downside is that she drains HP, so you need a healer to make up for it, but she's like a DPS/Buffer mixed into one and on the most versatile element (Hydro) too, and considered one of the best universal support units in the game at the moment who also contributes a lot of damage. I say that she's like Empyrea because they're both kind of the "all-in-one" package of buffing and damage together. But Empyrea as the added benefit of being able to heal too.

as someone who just joined earlier this week, all these videos have been really helpful. i’m so glad you went over the 2 starter selectors because i’ve been struggling to see who i should pick, for the long term. i definitely try to pick fun units and characters i like, but i also want to do all content efficiently. thanks for this video!

One thing PGR could do is instead of having characters be relegated to QTE bots, have bosses with phases where swapping to a tank or a healer would be needed to move through that phase. They have such great characters it’s kind of frustrating that your overall damage will suffer if you swap.

I mean the no-swap rule only really counts for the competitive modes, Warzone and PPC. Anything outside of that is fair game. Alpha is also, so far in GLB, the only character with 100% uptime.

My only hesitation for picking Liv Empyria is a total lack of access to a fire tank. There's no A rank fire tank so forming a functional fire team feels like it would be difficult if you don't already have one.

its more like for the future choice, you can get Watanabe in the future and Lee from 100% anniversary banner or the standart banner selector. Until then tho Empyrea is a good temporary dps for fire stages i guess

@z27 an standard 6* selector is a thing where you can choose one character to pull from standard banner(Lee gonna be there) with a 100% rate up, its gonna relise on Lamia patch (august+-). And on the anniversary banner you can also chose a character to pull with a 100% rate up, but with an event tikets/black cards(its gonna be on Alise patch, somewhere on july i guess)

Came back after abandoning PGR after about 2 weeks the first time around only because I want Acheron to release already in HSR. And since they're basically the same character down to the color scheme (during ults anyway) I figured why not? Also high ponytails are cute. Also also CW is like the chuuni ideal. White hair? Check. Different color eyes? Check. That glow when releasing her power? Check. Katana? Check. Sealed left hand? Check. Edgy? Check, check and check. It's absolutely hilarious how she hits every single point and how straight they played her design.

Nanami pulse is a very viable pick over luminance especially with alisa echo replacing liv luminance (assuming your getting Echo Sig) I wouldve prioritized luminance if this was balter patch, but it's not

Bro I got so lucky as a new player. Hit level 50 2day, got a free 10 pull on beginner banner, 37 pity then got kumai tenebrion (idk spelling) AND BIANCA STIGMATA IN ONE TEN PULL. Have a full physical meta team (liv luminescence, dint know bout free amplifier 😢, Rosetta, was saving until I got beginner character) Now I have a meta physical team, and lightning is ez af cuz pull on alpha, vera thro selector and liv lux. LIKE HOLY SHIT I STILL HAVENT COME OUT OF SHOCK. One prob, I don't have ss (will grind and since beginner not rlly req) but signature is imp for Bianca mostly and I have 6 star 4 Rosetta thro 6 star weapon selector thro beginner again. My only prob: getting alpha's weapon and cub (i rlly RLLY like the character) as well as a 5 star 4 vera. STILL SO DAMN HYPED...

About sig wepaon you don't have to be worried since it will permanently 80% chance, but I don't really recommend for new player to get the cub since we have many amazing characters coming. But again you do what you prefer. IIRC Cub is similar to debut character, they only get 100% during debut, afterwards it's going to be 80%

I might just get no. 21 cuz lightining and lamia cuz I have a kamui and vera. However peeps say liv emperya (again idk spelling) is a very good choice 4 d selector banner but she's mostly wanted in a fire meta team, and looking at d characters I have, I don't think shes worth it 4 my account (unless I pull wantanabe and get Lee on like another selector which won't come till like qu who is like an year away). My only dillema rn is 2 select liv or vera (might go w/ liv and build like Lee paleflame, kamui and liv as a sub dps but again I think u need her sig 4 sub dps) Idk I'll have a better look after 2-3 weeks when the selector actually comes and I have 2 choose. I def think so, you can snipe A rank Chrome Arklight with the 80% rate-up on the standard banner (blue tickets). Also be careful of the "i dont have any X element characters so i won't pick any" mindset cause if you go like that, you will never have that team lol Liv Emp is good at everything dps/sub-dps/support (even off element). While Garnet has a good substitute in Chrome Arklight, Liv Emp does not, as Sophia simply.. sucks

I'm new to the game. just level 30+. This game did not made me feel bad for purchasing the monthly pass. It gave me a Lucia skin and her S rank sword which are so damn good-looking. I'm still getting used to the combat and quite enjoying it, tbh. I also got lucky getting Lucia Dawn yesterday. I have a few questions. 1) how strong is Liv: Empyrea as a fire DD? At the beginning of the game I took Rosetta: Rigor from the starting selector. At that time I didn’t know the “power” of the characters at all, so I took a random character and this character was Rosetta: Rigor only later I realized that I had made a big mistake and only now when Lucia: Crimson Weave appeared I got my FIRST DD. Therefore, I now want to strengthen it as much as possible so that it does a lot of damage. Of the S rank characters, I only have Selena: Capriccio, Nanami: Pulse, Rosetta: Rigor, Liv: Luminance and Camu: Crocotta. This is why this selector is very important to me. 2) This leads to the second question: is it worth choosing from the selector Vera: Garnet as a lightning tank? It’s just that if Liv: Empyrea is not “strong” as a fire DD, then I’ll just waste this selector because I don’t have supports for the fire team. Currently I am using a squad consisting of Rosetta: Rigor, Liv: Lux and Lucia: Crimson Weave. Ideally, I definitely need to replace Rosetta: Rigor with Vera: Garnet, as I understand it. 3) The third question is not related to the selector. Which future characters should I save my Black Cards for? If it’s not difficult, then please help me with the choice based on my S rank characters... Or am I so bad with S rank characters that I can’t help with it :D ?

Let me try to help i might not be able to answer all the questions tho So for your first question liv empyra is a good dd but her main role is amplifier with is like a buffer so while se does good damage you would still need a fire damage dealer and the best one is lee hypervell who just left but i Believe he'll be back during August so if you don't feel like waiting then don't get liv id recommend getting vera instead and for saving for a future character im not so sure id recommend checking out grey raven radio they have a good video on what future units to summon on and just i lot if helpful videos

Empyra makes sense solo but honestly any S rank tank is better value for comps since you can get two S rank amps for free atm. IMO grind Serena, skip Empyrea. Get Vera from the selector if you are planing on pulling for Alpha and Glory othervise.

imo my throw in I would reverse the priority on plume and glory as ice picks if you have neither as Ayla is the primary Ice dps now so plume is technically already power crept and without glory your only other ice tank choice is changyu and he's well... changyu. I personally think for the beginner selector you could make a good case for Kamui over Liv. Being that Liv is going to get power creepnfor free but picking Kamui could allow you to skip Katerina. Same case with me, but still torn between Garnet & Empyrea. For fire attacker, based on Gray Raven Radio (video about Nanami Starfarer), Lee Palefire with leap buff was one of the best option before Lee Hyperreal. I used that recommendation.

It really depends, Garnet is a slight increase to the lightning team but some of the characters here are a more significant increase to their teams. For example Chrome Glory is a much better tank than his A alternative and same for Empyrea in the fire support role

I'm super new to the game, literally started at the beginning of this patch but since I got LCW in my first pull and her 6 star in 12 pulls, i went ahead and pushed her to SS and now Probably going to go with Vera to round out my Lighting team, but since I hyperinvested into her (Maxed 4pc Diesel 2pc Cottie with one resonance so far) I might go with Rigor to help my Bianca Stigmata and get a jump on making a 2nd team.

im quite new, like 2...ok now its 3 months old acc. i managed to make dark team (luna vera no21) and a lightning team (cw,vera,liv) and recently bought alya from the shop and half way through getting selena from the perma event thingie. i literally have no other S rank that are good in current meta lmao. im planning to get no21 lightning and Qu ice in the future. So should i still try for liv empyrea considering my lack of fire dps or tank?

I have Liv Empyrea and Lucia Crimson Weave. I have Lucia decently built and have Liv Lux as support, so should I use Vera Garnet, or a character for Liv Emp? I’d like to have 2 teams by now, if at all possible, and am not sure how much of a boost adding Vera Garnet would be over trying to build a 2nd team

Gotta disagree about luminance and tenebrion. While yes No.21 is a very viable dark tank replacement tenebrion has much better access to Res shred. His replacement scire is off banner and won't become easily available until the S-selector on the regular banner roughly 5 patches from now. Luminance is getting power crept by a FREE unit only 3 patches away (I think) and leap skills cost a LOT for newer players. Don't skip tenebrion just yet. Not until scire is easier to get by which point luminance is useless anyway.

I just got lucia cw. Mightve missed it but can someone explain why empyrea is hetter choice than garnet? Why is she not good as qte bot? (Current team is cw, liv lux and chrome arclight at S. Planning to get garnet to replace arclight?) Will arclight still be serviceable even if i dont get garnet?

Garnet shreds for 15% while Archlight only shreds for 10%. So yes Garnet is slightly better, the problem is you are using her as a qte bot so you rarely see her during a fight. Personally I'd rather get someone I will actually swap to. I'm in the same situation as you, got CW and paired her with lux and arclight. I'm still undecided on what I will get though, Glory plus the free Kaleido would be a great basis for an ice team (I read that Kaleido is the de facto ice dps so I'd rather pick a tank instead of the Lucia Plume dps) but Empyrea also looks pretty cool and I need a fire team as well

I have no fire team, 0/3 so empryea might be a choice. I just got kaleido too, but paired her with bambi and a ayla, so maybe chrome glory is the best choice and reinforce my ice team?? Since i'm about 2 weeks old in the game, i watched your previous video's and took your recommendation for: Liv: luminance from the starter S character selector. Then i took Rosetta: Rigor from the previous S character selector and took her signature Gungnir 6* weapon from the S rank weapon selector. I'm hoping Bianca stigmata will get into the S rank R&D Arrival Contruct banner. tommorrow 29-02 too compleet the set. But after that if bianca isn't coming; then it is going to be hard. I kind of want too invest into the upcoming Hanying: Zitherwoe and (now improved) Qu: pavo combo. But that is more physical element and it takes at least SSS rank on Hanying for the combo to be viable. Besides the un trap pit my thoughts are: i feel no love for the upcoming dark characters that are coming or the CN latest Luna with void element. But i do like the current luna: laural. I've also loved playing Vera: Rosen and no. 21 and appearantly they are good together. So i'm unless you tell me the Kowloong boosting character has enough ( or overal great ) potential to be viable. I will probably steer to the dark element next and look towards Luna from the new S character selector

I'll get chrome glory. And I already have plume, but if I had to choose I'd still get chrome glory because ice team really needs him for rotation and you can use bambinata as DPS. Right now my team is plume, ayla brilliance and kaleido. I can tell that brilliance is a big dps loss in this team. Bambianata SSS is a very good option for replacing Plume and Qu is coming so you'll replace her. Chrome is not being replaced yet.

luckly i got vera weapon (while pulling for lee's weapon ). So going for vera now because if I get no. 21 and well invested vera i have seen rotation for warzone. From my knowledge, before vera gets her leap its just better to use her core and swap to get the res shred. but after her leap you can use her ultimate and she can be a little longer in the field. This info is based on some warzone runs I have seen on cn servers.

Some L takes we're having this vid in the recommendation of Lucia : Plume and Luna "Laurel tbh, also with Alisa being so close investing into Liv : Luminance is just a waste, i dont know if i did something wrong but it took me like almost 3-4 weeks of pumping resources into Rosetta to get her from no leap to max, so assuming as a f2p it takes the same amount of time along with you needing to build your DPS as well, by the time you get Liv Fully leaped after you do rosetta, you will barely be able to use her before Alisa comes, also Lucia over Chrome is just not viable due to how bad changyu is, bambinatta is semi decent and if needed you can just perma on field Ayla, and Luna just like liv has not a lot of months left in her, so in my opinion the order goes Liv : Empyrea, Chrome : Glory , and Vera : Garnet as the top 3

Alright fine, I'll subscribe >.> Altho I kinda disagree about Capricio. If you don't haver her, unlocking her via 50 shards is a huge waste, you lose 20 shards right off the bat since a copy gives only 30. Farming her is only viable via vouchers and if you aren't buying all BP tiers every patch, you aren't going to have vouchers for her as you'll be needing them for Kaleido. If you are going to farm her that way... you'll be farming her up to the point of when she's no longer relevant, lol - since it'll take forever to get her to SSS, which is where you need her to be, otherwise don't even bother with her at all.

My fire team is just an underinvested lee palefire and liv amp, no fire tank either. just kind of... ignoring stage bonuses on warzone and getting terrible scores except for lightning and dark because cw and luna teams are my only good teams lolsob

As a new player i think i will be going for vera garnet since i got luna laurel in my 40 pulls first banner than i got rosetta rigor i also got rosetta weapon from the selector and crimson abyss paired with luminance thats a team my dark team is almost complete with vera and luna just need 21 so im working on my lightning team since i got cw, edit:and her weapon going for cub now
