You mentioned Orion..... back in 1979 my cousin and I went to see Orion sing at The Roadway Inn, in Asheville, North Carolina. Now a few interesting things about this are that The Roadway Inn is where Elvis ALWAYS stayed when he did a concert in Asheville. Number 2 I got an autographed photo of Orion that night and met him face to face. Yes the man had some cosmetic surgery and yes you could still see the very faint scars if you knew where to look Elvis had cosmetic surgery too. The one convincing thing for me besides his singing, he plainly stated that night right out he would NOT do any Elvis songs, but his little finger was crooked just like Elvis's was. Orion asked me how I liked the concert to which I replied I loved it but he would never replace Elvis.....he just smiled.

Hey Jack. Let’s not forget that King James sponsored the translation of the Bible into English. It wouldn’t surprise me that he encouraged some things to be translated to benefit his reign. Especially when it came to the role women played during his time period.

My question is why a pastor at such a small backwoods church is bigger than life preacher where they come from all over the world to see him preach....and that small town preacher is in George magazine etc....etc....but to me he has finally broken free from the chains that bind to live the life he loves

I don't know if anyone else feels this way...but the fact that the name Elvis has become so taboo to say (almost as if it is shameful, i.e. a curse word) kinda makes me a bit uneasy and sad...especially when his essence is written all over the church loud and clear. Seems like, at this point, keeping the secret is just more burdensome than it's worth...hence attracting all the unwanted negativity. The reason anyone comes to see him, ultimately, is because he is so beloved and always has been. They wanna hear what he has to say because he is such a bright light in this world. I really pray that he and the congregation will see things from that perspective eventually. The truth shall set you free...💖🌟

Maybe it’s because he doesn’t want to go back to the life of being a prisoner in his own home again. As long as he doesn’t make a definite statement it’s mostly speculation. I know not to say the ‘E’ word but if it has nothing to do with him why worry? It just makes it more likely that it is more than speculation.

I would have to watch the video again to see what inspired that. My guess is Gene was being Publicly Corrected by the Group Administrator and I felt it should have been done in a Text or email. Gene plays a Big Role in promoting the church through George Magazine and is second only to his friend the Pastor in accomplishments. So I feel that deserves RESPECT and may have brought in a few Scripture verses to define Biblical order.
