Ah yes My fav song on the album That chorus 05:39 always awakes something special in me, LMAO the chorus is my fav part XD this song and the rest/other albums got me thru my depressive teenager moments in high school, btw did u notice that in EVERY slipknot album has a song with a chorus like that 05:39? Self titled: Spit it out, IOWA: The Shape, Vol.3: Scream, AHIG:(U didnt do this one yet so I wont spoil), TGCH: Devil in I, WANYK: Orphan, Btw talking about angry Corey in this album, some of Corey's screams in this album reminds me A LOT his 99s voice, the "Im not gonna make it" in Duality, or the "The only way is all the way" in opium of the people sounds a lot alike the oppening screams in Liberate(seriously sounds so similar) the verses of three nil reminds a lot Eyeore from Self Titled, but the rest of the album his screams sounds really weird, but man THE LIVE SCREAMS FROM VOL.3 ERA were honestly amazing, Sic live at BDO 2005 or Disasterpiece BDO 2005 his voice kinda reminded IOWA era.... Saddly he was all drunk with a destroyed voice in the record of the album Btw I always misheard the chorus as "All we ever sacrificed has paid" and the bridge "oh will handle matter total stress??!" Instead of "Prove you exist"

The chorus: I always look at music as the lyrically first than anything I just love the message Corey brings in his music. Slipknot always or most of the time switches their music soft to heavy to soft and so on to anything crazy lol I think this chorus fits cause it's Slipknot. If it was a different band then maybe I'll be iffy

The bridge is my favorite part, but the second chorus is what I love about this song. The first half is ok, but once I the main chorus came in I was thinking why the hell is this not on the album. I was sure you would love that chorus, so what the hell do I know. lol

Yes, exactly what I meant on another comment section here months ago! This song is like Three Nil with a hyper version of Vermillion chorus. (Corey has referred to this song as "Vermillion pt. 3") I like this song in general. Used to listen to it in my old mp3 player when coming back from school when I was 12. The melodic parts (not just the chorus but also the bridge right after it) sound a bit imbalanced with the rest, but I never really minded this. The verses are the best aspect of this song.

You must be having a bad day or something because everything about this song is amazing, especially the chorus. This song has it all and it’s very catchy too. It balances the screams with the melody and that’s exactly what I love about slipknot only they can do that perfectly. Give this song another chance a little bit later on and I promise you that Kors will grow on you and it compliments the song very well.

Hmmm.... Now im confused, before YT disabled the comments, someone put the lyrics in the comments with the lyrics and it said "All we ever sacrificed has paid" (and i always misheard this) and in the bridge instead of "Prove you exist?!"(alwaus misheard this as well) Was "total stress!" Now with this lyric video it seems this is official but now you're saying its wrong so idk what is right or wrong anymore and j dont trust ny ears

I Remember dont get close got leaked before vol 3. we were hyped but didnt like coreys scream, we were like,,,,whats he doing?. this isnt the same scream... an then it happened in vol 3....stone sour come whatever may.... we got used to it though. just another talent notch under coreys belt. Fun fact : we all thought three nil and scream sounded close. both the songs were actually one song, called Scream three nil!. an due to the multiple elements they turned it into 2 different songs. im only kidding of course. but wouldnt you agree if that was true?.

The singing part works for me as a contrast to the rest of the track and I love it for that. Maybe Corey wanted those words to be heard and made it contrast for that reason. Listening to this song again from the sung chorus onwards, it becomes a whole new song. The instrumental, then the re sung chorus. It evolves into a different more expansive song. Plus the outro screams before I forget. I actually didn't like the heavier feel to the song from beginning til the sung part. But listening to it it's sounds very much like three nil in it's structure. Maybe that's why it got left off the album? Most of the vol 3 songs sound like they are their own thing on that album. And funny enough before I forget was my least fave song. I liked things about it, but it took time for me to like it more than i first did when i heard it.

Volume 3 is Slipknot's best album, but never heard the bonus tracks. I can understand why it wasn't on the original record. It doesn't seem to fit anywhere on this particular album. Volume 3 has such an incredible flow to it and inserting this song would ruin the flow. It's not a bad song, but it just had no place on Volume 3. Sounds like it belongs on All Hope Is Gone. Which my least favorite Slipknot album. Thanks Lauren.

This one, I spent a whole summer on it, although it was from vol. 3 the subliminal shiitaki mushrooms. It's really something else. Three nil is also nice, I admit, the blister exists as well and pulse of the maggots and whatnot, but as a whole , compared to Iowa, I was soooo disappointed. If you dont mind me saying, it is time for you to move to something more serious. A band called Gojira.
