I watched Dune 2 in 4DX in North Hollywood, CA and had no idea I had bought 4DX tickets. It was awful. Couldn't concentrate on what was going on. Never again.

It’s not for everyone as for me, I love it, I’ve seen two movies in 4DX now, Ghostbusters Frozen Empire and Godzilla vs. Kong The New Kingdom and wow. My next movie will be, Civil War. It’s the way to watch a movie. It reminds me of when surround sound got big. Now here we are. It’s like Spider-Man the ride or T2-3D. It’s an experience.

I saw Jurassic World dominion in 4dx, two years ago and the experience was awesome. Everything was moving and is hectic. The movie imo is not great but the 4dx did help to amplify the experience. I’m going to watch twisters in 4dx next and it looks like it’s going to be very chaotic and intense. I just hope that the movie, this time around is good and enjoyable alongside with 4dx. Don’t want another Jurassic world type of situation again.

Just watched Godzilla x Kong in 4DX tonight. Felt like 2 hours on an old wooden roller coaster

I'm confused on if you think it's a pleasant or bad experience 😂

@@almostrobotics - At almost 50, with lower back issues, ‘twas not my favorite experience 😂. Ordered the tix on Fandango and there was no warning on their site. After the fact, I went to the 4DX page and found multiple reasons why I should NOT have done that. 😆🤦🏼♂️☠️

Genuine question, as someone who hasn't been to a 4DX theater yet (and I'd like to!). Does the "experience" of it, at any point, start to take away from what's actually happening in the movie? Essentially, is it distracting? Between THIS special effect and THAT special effect, seats rattling and water being sprayed in your face, I feel like it would start to become about what cool thing is happening around you in the theater instead of how is this further immersing you into what's on screen. But I don't know.

It's fun for a few minutes then gets annoying. No one wants to be jerked around for 2 hours str8 lol. It's worth experiencing at least once

This is fun for the first 15 minutes then gets annoying when your trying to settle in and watch a movie
