They will suffer a humiliating punishment.” [Luqman 31:6]. This verse says “theatrics” without any implementation. Theatrics is not music but rather the performance of acts. Are you going to leave over 40+ authentic Hadiths of prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him, and the practice of 120,000+ companions who Allah praised in the Quran and follow a mazhab you have no clue about that says shaving a beard is “disliked”!? What kind of mindset is this? 1- The Shafaai mazhab is wrong on this issue because we follow evidence and they don’t have evidence all they said is that it’s part of the prophet’s time so it’s just disliked however, hanbalis, malikis, hanafis, zahiris and the companions disagree. Late Shafaais have no authentic evidence. 2- Even in the Shafaai mazhab, Imam Alshafaai himself, the one who it’s named after, said it’s HARAM!!!!!!!! (Refernece: Kitab Al-UM) 3- Late shafaai scholars, 700 years after the prophet, said it’s disliked. However, Ibn al-Rafa', al-Hilmi and al-Adhra'i from the same mazhab (Alshafaai) criticised that view. So in the same mazhab there is a difference of opinion between disliked and haram. 4- Let me get this straight, you’re telling me you’ll leave every single mazhab, the prophet’s order and 124,000+ companions who never even touched their beards (except Abu Huraira and Ibn omar they had fist long beards) and you’ll follow a disputed opinion in the Shafaai mazhab that said it’s disliked!!!!! I’ll leave this here for you: The Messenger of Allah said: "What is the matter with people who say such and such? But I pray and I sleep, I fast and I break my fast, and I marry women. Whoever turns away from my Sunnah is not of me." (Sunan an-Nasa'i 3217) Prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him said: “Trim the moustache and leave the beard,” (Al Bukhari and Muslim). It is noteworthy that obeying Messenger in that is equivalent to obeying Allah. Allah says in the glorious Quran, “He who obeys the Messenger had indeed obeyed Allah.” The Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to have a large beard, we as Muslims should imitate him in his practices. Quran says that, “In the messenger of Allah is good example for you to follow.” May Allah guide us.

@@UltimateMegaMaster You didn’t read what I wrote, you’re blindly following. Imam AlShaafi said it’s haram himself but late Shafaai said it’s disliked. Again you’re not following Imam Shafaai. I also never said AlShaafi mazhab is wrong as full. I’m Egyptian and our mazhab in Egypt is literally Shaafai lol. I’m explaining to you that it’s wrong and people are just picking and choosing without even knowing anything. I gave you evidence from the Shafaai mazhab of others in the same mazhab who disagree. Imam Alshafaai says in Kitab Al-UM in Arabic p89 volume 6: “And if a barber shaves it (hair) and grows his hair as it was or better, then nothing will be on him, …… and if it is in the beard (shaving), it is not permissible” Read again my comment and stop blindly following. Follow the Sunnah. May Allah forgive us.

One of these reports is the hadeeth of Ibn ‘Umar who said that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Be different from the mushrikeen: let your beards grow and trim your moustaches.” According to another report: “Trim your moustaches and let your beards grow.” There are other hadeeth which convey the same meaning, which is to leave the beard as it is and let it grow long, without shaving, plucking or cutting any part of it. Ibn Hazm reported that there was scholarly consensus that it is an obligation (fard) to trim the moustache and let the beard grow. He quoted a number of ahaadeeth as evidence, including the hadeeth of Ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) quoted above, and the hadeeth of Zayd ibn Arqam in which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever does not remove any of his moustache is not one of us.” (Classed as saheeh by al-Tirmidhi).
