I stopped shopping the Sephora sale when I realized that I can get my favorites directly from most of the brands at way better sale prices. I quite like Farmacy’s moisturizers and they do friends and family sales for 25-35% off regularly. I’d rather shop at Ulta anyway for cosmetic type products, they have the better rewards program anyway

I have never shopped the sale, and I will not be starting this year lol. I need a brow pencil and gel, but my favorites are from essence and elf, so I’ll replace those soon.

Yes! I totally agree 👍🏼 My fragrance purchases are much less at other places. Makeup purchases I make are better at that particular brand site. I wait for the 30-50% off sales. I’m only an Insider so the 10% is a joke for me. Why spend more?

About electronics and other bigger purchases: check how old your laptop, tablet, phone is; check how old your mattress is; maybe your vacuum is malfunctioning; maybe you have the same hairdryer since collage and it may stop working any day; maybe you need better pillow, comfier shoes, new prescription for glasses; maybe you have health issues to address; maybe your pet is getting older and you need emergency found for their health; or just maybe something you use everyday is annoying you... Sometimes, especially if saving is very hard for you it's better to spend money on something that really improves quality of your life and isn't just regret.

I usually stock up on skincare during the holiday sales, and there are two kits I have my eye on, but I'm waiting for Black Friday/Cyber Monday or later. I've gotten great deals right before or after Christmas, when holiday sets are half off and then they offer a bonus 10-20% extra for a few days. BUT I need to take stock of what I have and what I need first. I also want to set a budget.

I really like Pacifica products, I use their cleansers and face creams and it works just fine for me. I also like the good old Dove sensitive soap bar for my face as well. Any of the special serums or mucins didn't work or do anything anyway. I also like jojoba oil, great for face and you can use for hair and nails as well. Multipurpose! Plus the shelf life is indefinite, I am sold.

No one talks about Tj/Tk Maxx, but I find Niod products for €10 and Ordinary Copper Buffet for €10 instead of €35. in Europe. And it's the same with other brands. Right now, there are Melt Cosmetics products and their Palettes for 14€
