Guys! I don't recommend this, because it's a feature for those who accidentally shutdown their computer/laptop instead of restart and if you shutdown normally then immediately turn on again it'll always show that CPU time is running, if you shutdown your laptop and give it a break like 20/30 minutes then when you start your PC it'll show new CPU time because your CPU got some rest and now can properly run again. Don't listen to these useless things because after a very long consideration they put this feature on windows. (Thank me later)

Let me tell you , basically windows 8 and later me windows 7 jaise shutdown nahi hota, wo hybrid shutdown hota hai jisko ham fast startup bhi bolte hai, windows 7 or previous me jab pc start hota hai to wo sare drivers vagera load karta hai to time lagta hai startup me. Newer windows me shutdown ke time windows drivers aur kernel ki image save kar leta hai c drive me aur jab aap next time apna pc power on karte ho to instead of loading new drivers wo image file ko run kar leta hai aur time ki savings hoti hai. Iska drawback ye hai ke kafi Baar pc ache ne nahi chal raha hota hai to shutdown karne se bhi sahi nahi hota, sabhi restart kiya jata hai pc ko, isee windows sare drivers vagera Dobara load karti hai ram me. Sorry for the long explanation

Just 3 days ago I turn on my laptop the battery was suddenly gone from 100 to 0 in 1s after that I remember a video of Linus tech tips so I go to my setting turn off that function and put hibernation function on front so when I need to shut down my laptop for short time I can just put it for hibernation and when going to sleep put it on complete shutdown it takes around 30 second to 1ms for this laptop battery performance is already too poor like 1.5 hours of battery life

for non experts, dont do it. its a feature. you dont need to care much about the uptime. if its way too much, just restart kar lo, wo reset ho jayega. if you do it, your laptop or pc will take more time to boot/start.

With fast startup on it'll be so forcefull to your hdd and ssd to write files before you shut down and the kernel still stays awake even after you shut down untill your next bootup so it's kind of useless to shutdown when the fast startup is on it's harmful when you do frequent shutdowns cause nvme or hdd has to write everything before shutdown and the kernel cannot go to sleep so best thing is to turn off that feature to pro long your laptop

The option saves current operating system image in ram without flushing it. Turning off will make the startup delay because the system has to again load drivers, OS image etc.

A less known Windows shortcut for Shutdown, actually the fastest way to shutdown is by pressing *Win+X* and then press *U* two times It will shut down the LC immediately and is a better alternative than Alt+F4 because it works just like Ctrl+Alt+Del i.e in every window Thank me later 😁😁

There is a misunderstanding this thing hv nothing to do with proper shutdown fast startup only puts the pc in a semi hibernation mode where the drivers r temporarily paused in disk it doesnt affect anything but its better to turn that on ,dont worry ur pc is completely shutdown during this

Don't do this it decreases the performance. I have another option for this problem. All you need to do is shut down laptop and wait 30 seconds after it gets shutdown then close the lid that's it.

Dont shut your laptop down forcefully... unless it freezes, because what can you so with frozen laptop I forced shutdown cause it froze and then got the dreaded check disk command. I always had to manually shut off check disk... Until i cleared registy

But if you are forcefully shuting down computer every time then your computer may loses(corrupt, delete) windows software. Where as about shift option you can use it when your computer work slow due to not getting completely shutdown. And after turning on your work smoothly for 3-4 days and if you are having good computer above 60000rs and more then your computer may work smoothly for 1 week. Now tell me why should I close my laptop every time completely when it's take more than 45 sec to turn on.

It baffles me how these youtubers can be so confident while making these videos when they don't know what they're talking about at all, when you shutdown your laptop with fast startup on, it closes all apps and puts your laptop in hibernation. Your cpu is still off, your battery is not being used, the OS files loaded in your ram just get transferred to your ssd, so that they can directly be copied back, without fast startup, the files get deleted when you shut down and are recreated every time you boot. Microsoft puts it on by default for a reason...
