i am using the pivot since launch , it feels premium and works perfectly , i don't think it's even close from being the best performers in the market , but rather more on the classic side of things . the buttons and D-Pad feel nice to me , and compared to mechanical buttons they need more travel to actuate and don't have the feedback of mechanical buttons, but you can easily get used to that . the software and the polling rate are very lacking , i have up to 2000Hz polling rate on other controllers and this one still stuck on ~160Hz , but numbers aside it does feel really good to use on non compatitive games and every thing feels unique about it .

@@DKprojects9 I used the D-Pad to play 2 platformers , namely blasphemous , i get precise movement and satifying pressess , i saw other reviews pulling moves with this D-Pad no problems and was rated pretty high , but for fighting games it depends on the game and what kind of chareckter you are using , this D-Pad doesn't have a center pivot so a full cyrcle might be hard. and very few charecters require that.

@@DKprojects9 I think the cretique kevin brings is valid if the buyers are playing competetive shooters , i wouldn't recommond this controllers either for that, but for almost anything else , it's exactly what you would expect it to be , good for fighting games , good for 2D platformers and good for shooters, on top it feels unique and feels really good to use.

@@DKprojects9 Kevin criticized some of the poor choices on the design, and of course there's a lot that they can do better, but he teared it down and i don't remember hearing anything about the quality being poor. Reviews should bring up the good and the bad , sadly there was only focus on the main thing that this controller can't do, and not on how great it is for all other games, and how good it feels in hand, and how good and satisfying the buttons are .

One thing I love about TB is on my Stealth I had 1 hand grip come off so I contacted support to see if they could send me a new one and they sent me a new controller instead no questions asked and told me to toss the old controller (still an excellent controller)and that is what I called excellent customer support

The dpads are different on this controller. The dpad on the side with the analog doesn't have a pivot, the one on the fight pad side has a pivot and is incredibly more accurate. As a fighting game player, it's probably the second best dpad I've used. The absolute worse thing about this controller is how bulky it is. Like you said, there is zero comfortable place to rest your middle finger.

Yes! Spot on, the D-pad on the side that has the buttons is superior and tactile , it feels mechanical similar to an Xbox one controller, the D-pad with the analogue stick feels soft, I tried to point this out and got accused of “being high” 😂

Why put a LSb and RSB on the left side? Why not P1 AND P2 on left side and p3 and p4 and right side. And but p5 and p6 behind controller or p5-8 behind controller, I know the duke and dutchess have the most satisfying to press by Hyperkin, micro switches would have been cool, and wireless but how much would that have added? The error on stealth ultra was flawless and on this one lol. But whatever I have to get this for the fight pad. Just why a LSB RSB? 70 bucks for a way better screen, microswitches, a wireless for Xbox, and 4 back buttons? Hall effect modules on Victoria Xbox causes some problems with the controller, it sucks. Other wise I would use that pad a lot more, beautiful controller and the Hall effect clutch triggers but the Hall effect modules are useless on the Xbox, they restocked. I’m thinking about either buying a white Victrix pro bfg or this , which one would you recommend?

You are going to enjoy it. I've been using the PG32UCDM for about 6 months now and it's *_chefs kiss_* The difference between it and any LCD monitor is so immense, it's not even close. Honestly having a glossy screen is also just better.

You are incorrect about the D-pads being identical, when it’s it’s the “xbox” position it has a non tactical rubber membrane squishy feel, but when you flip it round so the D-pad is at the top it has a clicky mechanical feel and sound , very similar to an Xbox series D-pad, I don’t know for the life of me why they don’t make both D-pads like this

Yeah I made the mistake of buying the stealth from TB. What a POS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I must say what a waist of 200.00. Even after the firmware updates it still disconnects. I then purchased the Manba 1 controller for 70.00. No disconnects. It is now my go to number one controller. As for my TB stealth controller, I pawned it.

Hey Kev! Long time viewer 😁 would you ever consider doing collaborations when it comes to peripherals that are a bit outside of your normal wheel house? I’m a big fighting game player and we definitely keep looking for a “good” fight pad which have been far and few over the years. as much as I love your reviews for everything else your reviews on some of the more recent fight pads have just been a little off the mark within that realm. A lot of things from d-pad feel to buttons are definitely viewed differently in that community so perhaps a collab wouldn’t be the worst. This still doesn’t seem like a great pad but definitely a decent place to ask this question. As far as good controllers for fighting games the stock PS4/5 controllers have been the standard over the years with some even smaller niche controllers that look like old sega pads have had they’re day in the sun

if I overclock my controller the duration on the xinput app says around 0.5 to 0.9 with some spike to 9 or 8. Jitter is 1.8 and the max is 9 and min is 0.4. If I drop it to 500 it's a consistent 1.5 around that with a 0.5 jitter and 5 max what should I choose

This controller is nowhere near those speeds. The manufacturer purposely doesn’t claim a specific polling rate because it is between 6 to 8 ms of lag ah roo on a 125 hz non modifiable (as of now) clock

I use the beach usb mic and beach mix create it’s a sweet setup and makes audio a lot simpler. And the high impedance mode for the hungry headphones 😚👌

Xbox is console so it’s fair to assume “Why would you add it to a Xbox controller” if they wanted it to be only pc then why bother adding the Xbox logo? It’s obviously trying to get Xbox owners attention. So again why have gyro on a Xbox “Focus” controller? Might as well been a switch controller in this occasion. And no I disagree gyro is not mandatory for fps on a controller. Good sticks, good triggers, buttons and weight are a must first and foremost. And last point not everyone should be using gyro. Even majority of top players in world don’t use it.
