I just ordered the exact same Haswing 65lb motor for my feel free 10.. I also ordered everything to mount it. Also ordered and recieved my 100ah battery.. my friend who knows all about these will be rigging it all up for me sion as it gets here...

Seamax marine sell the same motor under their name. You can order some parts from them if you need it in the future. I'm using it for my 14 inflatable bloat with a 200ah lithium battery, running nicely for the last 3 years.

I have this over 2 years now and have it on my inflatable 12ft boat and pull me 4+ mph sometimes 5mph depending on current.. no issues works great and i dont even clean it 😂 open the props once a while and check for lines and stuff get in the shaft and grease it up

4.5 is about hull speed. Anything over 5 or so, you are just burning your battery more than you need. If you run it about 3/4 throttle when needed, you can most likely fish all day. I have motorized 3 of my Old Townes - 1 with a minnkota C-30 and 2 with Bixpy. Pound for point you have a much better value as you set it up, imho. Nice Job and Tight Lines! Blessings.

Shaft doesn’t interfere even if the kayak is fully loaded, and it’s easier to stow it like that while on the go,

@@SaltyHooker08 Gotcha. I couldn't have the shaft that long. 1) aesthetics 2) I do cast backwards at times when current has me positioned the opposite way of where I want to cast.

What kind of battery life are you going to get on that 50AH battery?

Depending.. this motor pulls 50amps max at full power Depending on set up.. so 100ah battery and if you keep it full power nom stop pulling at 50amps ÷ 100ah you'll get 2 hours of use non stop full power.. but if you just go half power you'll get about 4 hours non stop. But you'll never be using it for 1 hour non stop, maybe 5 to 10 mind here and there to get to your spot.. I get about 14 mile range on this motor set up with a 100ah battery and I'm on a inflatable 12ft boat that has more drag
