Powder exintshers = garanited powder cleaning if used, if not cleaned up -Bye bye electronic stuff. And causee corrosion on metal ( but not dangerous for the environment). A serous Co2 extinguishing as first solution (in electrical installations computer rooms powder is a no go) ,if this is not enough use powder- messy as hell , on fibrous material water work very well and is a" clean" method. . Or a foam extinguisher -will have to be cleaned up after (will not corrode metals doe) . There are oil resistant foam and non oil resistant foam. The oil resistant foam is very much less environmentally friendly, so on fibrous materials use the non resistant type. The fire fighters don't want to use foam if the other alternative- water is enough. Prior habits of using foam on house fires has been found to seriously pollute wells and ground water .

the best thing for the stove pipe would be a 45° bend coming out of the wall behind the stove and restoring the corrugated panels on the roof, for the rest you've really made a lot of progress I've been following you since the first video where you were looking for the boat in that species of landfill, congratulations
@perstaffanlundgren

Or they can make a cover plate (like a c section) from side to side of the roof sitting in the groves on both sides of the section that is cut open where the pipe is . basically narrow roof over the roof where the pipe is in this plate. a water tight flange is installed in the and plate and the pipe treaed through it , as you do above and below ta pipe shimny on house . Because it's in a roof joint I think this will be the best method cutting in the joints like that messes up the water profnes ,its hard to seal when there is two plates meeting with hole in the intersection.

Consider some fire suppression equipment around the generator. It is totally contained below deck and very difficult to reach quickly. The fire suppression equipment should be remotely controlled, if not automated. There should be CO detectors near both the generator and in the living area near the furnace.

My first thought was you should have put a 90 degree elbow in and ran it out the side wall instead of the roof. It would have been much easier to seal against rain. It looks like it would have fit between the frame at the top of the wall.

Of course it's easy to imagine things done differently so don't get me wrong. The chimney of the stove existing on the side would have solved many problems. Maybe even running it all the way aft and non insulated. I like the long exhaust of the generator, it will bring a lot of heat to the boat but I don't think it's a good thing to immerse it. it will disturb the combustion in the piston so you will spend more gas and potentially damage the generator because of the exhaust pressure. I love your channel, very good editing. Hopefully the amount of subscribers will rise fast after this video. Thank you

The mistake with the roof is common, the correct thing would be for you to have cut the high part of the tile, here in Brazil we call the high part of the tile the cover and the low part we call the gutter, by cutting the cover you would have gutter space for water to drain and with little insulation there would be no leaks, the ideal would be for you to replace this tile, but so as not to need so much work with the roof, wouldn't it be more interesting for this chimney to come out through the side wall behind the wood stove?

I have your better solution. Get you some angle arm and go on the inside and push-up on the areas that are flat and screw the angle arm to it, which keeps it up high and not allows it to bow down, and then you'll be able to keep it toward. It doesn't bow down and then Warner stands there and leaks.

😅 congratulations on the successes regardless of setbecks. May I suggest on the chimney of taking everything down to the roof frame and building up from there. 1. Decon the stack 2. Take the corrugated tin off 3. Go to reframe 4. Strengthen the surrounding area with ceramic insulation; ceiling/roof Before reinstalling the corrugated tin. 5. Install corrugated tin. My apologies, I oversimplified, you're highly motivated and intelligent and seemingly understand what needs be done. Thank you for sharing your time and experiences, your infotainment has been a boon.

Don't exhaust your generator anywhere near an opening. All marine generators have large print warnings☠☠in the boxes warning about using them especially tied up or at anchor. Ignition air can draw in fumes from outside the boat. I would run the exhaust up high similiar to your stove. My boat is heated a Webasto hydronic system.

For maximum heat retention of any wood stove you must use angled stove pipe installation. A vertical pipe allows for inefficient heat loss. If the pipe is angled before going vertical (either out the side of structure or stepped inside structure) heat radiation will be greater.
