For the new farming system, you can use the one man band to "talk" to every plant in its radius. Pretty helpful for farming without wasting time

@@kiro1469 I assume you’re talking about the moonrock, which you can get easily on the main continent. Additionally, you have to remember that back when I commented that the oceans were much more bare, boring, and overall annoying to explore. All I was saying in the comment was that the seemingly useless item had a use if you were lazy enough or just had excess materials for it lying around.

5:17 I find the Ocuvigil to be of some use: - Each time the map re-sets after an update you'll always know where to head for find the item you marked. - It can be placed in your base so friends joining you can know where to head from when they arrive from the portal.

Yo beard, here's a use for ocuvigil: place it on a boat and now when you find an important place like the lunar island, everyone does. It also shows a WAY bigger area on the map that way so u can use it to outline the map for others

You forgot to mention that the ocuvigil also shows updates that occur in it's radius. You can use it for things like toadstool by putting it near all the spawning points so that when it spawns you know where it is. Still a very specific use, but the use is it's main feature as you can just use the moon rock used to make it to Mark a point on the map and not use the other materials it takes to make it.

I think the Ocuvigil is for a few things, like showing people where the camp is immediately which can be useful in wilderness mode upon death, showing if a lure plant also spawns if you dont have carpet etc, and the funny use of putting it on a boat and sending it away. I agree though, they should increase the radius by 200%

One very useful purpose I've found for the ocuvigil is opening up the map of the sea. Though I'm not entirely sure how you go about letting loose a boat to roam about but I thought that was neat.

A fire staff has some merit at a long range fire starting device. You can pair it with the ice staff to burn and freeze spawning buildings like beehives or spiders so you can scare them out without getting too close

Well, when it comes to farming living logs there really isn't a "farm" for it. Treehguardians are essentially random in that one person may get one or two every 20 trees chopped while others may get one every 200 chopped. There is no guaranteed way to spawn them so you can't really farm them like you can other mods. That being said making massive rows of trees yourself and having some big-bads knock them down for ya is still going to be better than personally chopping hundreds of trees to get guardians to spawn.

Fire staff is extremly usefull to quickly get rid of spider nests when you don't want to spend 4 day fighting spiders coming from 5 different nests ( no i mean it's really handy...) Except that i don't have any uses for it, yet it's handy.

Night Lights are amazing for caves basing. You're gonna be insane down there for the most time anyway, so it's not like sanity loss is a big deal. More than anything else, it just gives you more nightmare fuel for the lights (and dark swords).

A little late but if you still need the info you can trade with the parrot and when it flies away you can destroy the shipwreck to get the seaworther which can let you make the seaworthy, allowing you to go to shipwrecked
