I get your gripes but I still like all this new content. Let's hope the betas see some improvement!

To me its frustrating that the newer updates have been cool but not meaningful features that add nothing and to prove my point look at the avreage DST run from two years ago vs a DST run now you'd see that there almost exactly the same with the only difference being the skilltrees the tools weapons and armor that are used are the same even the boss order is the same i think klei should stop adding stuff and improve whats already there like buffing tools weapons and armor that aren't used alot or new drops from already existing enemys but i am not a game designer so maybe take what i say with a grain of salt

I think klei really nailed the how to make fun bosses after ancient guardian rework. Don't fight the cheese, make the cheese the right way to beat the boss lol.

That new boss should be available for combat at any time in the caves located in one of the nearly empty biomes, perhaps red-cap biome. It should also drop fossils upon death.

Was this meant to be a big caves update? It just seems like a regular update of sorts, and I haven't found anything saying this was meant to be a big deal. Maybe the roadmap?

I also have trying to orgonise my thoughts and be cohesive... youd think lets plays and the like would help that but not for me

First of all gg uncle beard But this one beta I do have to agree that it is kind of directionless on progression ,still entertaining but not much of things to actually do. Also this even if made quick was decently informative so did its job

the worm can actually chew on monster meat that you drop on the ground, so it doesn't need to be followers.

You know we can wait a few days, it is a reasonable reason to not make a new video to have a nephew on the way. Also congrats to your sister for being a mother and you for being an uncle !

How exactly does the bridge break the lore? I’m not caught up on some of it, so I’m a little confused. Also congratulations on becoming an uncle.

While contents of this update are quite random, I might get actually back to DST. I really like all the new end game gear and I wonder what's the endgame here. Like they are adding all these powerful endgame items and even although the updates seem kinda random in its contents, there has to be a reason other than "its the endgame" behind this stuff. I wonder what kind of monsters are they cooking. (Even tho I'll have to wait 'till my beard is as long as yours)

Honestly the great depth worm is my favorite part of this beta (i was thinking if there was a pugalisk boss in dst it would be the eater of worlds from terraria)

But also shut up about those of us who don't like what Klei has been doing for 2 years and want them to return to what they were with "Return of Them" when it comes to meaningful progression in gameplay and lore in these releases! We need new end game items

IMO, a lot of these new additions are kind of neat, but it still doesn't address the problem of not having a reason to stay in the caves. Most times, I enter the caves to do one or two things before leaving, with long trips only for the ruins or bunny hutches. The rest of the caves need more content that encourages you to stay for longer periods, as right now the most common reason I enter the caves is for light flowers, which takes only about 10 seconds at most. While some biomes on the surface suffer this issue too, most biomes are unique enough to encourage more often visits, whereas most of the caves importance comes from the ruins and mooncap forest.

They finally added the pugilisk to DST.... oh wait, no they didn't
