Word of warning about the clockworks that you befriend, before you exit the game, kill them, they become hostile when you return to the game, it's ended one of my best ruins raid before and I'm still pissed about it, and I would have fought the fuelweaver for the first time to, solo.

Funny fact: Today I spent 2 hours trying to teach myself how to properly rush the ruins. And then I see this video and remember that you have at least 4-6 guides about them and the caves. ( Which I watched when released and then forgot after) That extended guide on the ruins helped the most. (True fans will know whitch of them I refer to ;)

First time I cleared the ruins I did it with two other people, one who died immediately and the other who was in a constant state of low health/sanity despite sanity not mattering in the ruins. I didn't know what to get so we didn't grab any Frazzled Wires or Melty Marbles, wish I had seen this before hand.

You can also hit bishops with a torch to light them on fire which will make them run around for awhile and prevent them from attacking you!

Hey beard. I have a theory about who "them" is in dont starve together return of them. I noticed 2 things. One is that the glass cutter does extra damage to shadows. Does this mean they are enemies? Lunar and shadow. However another thing is that the ancients look a lot like some nightmare creatures. Soooo does t is mean that the ANCIENTS will return? I feel like that would be awesome!

How do you keep your sanity high in this kind of environment? At several moments in the video, you're down to, like, 86 (at 8:05 for example), and next cut you're at 139. How?

I had jerky, cactus flesh and eventually green mushrooms. More than enough to stay sane.

You can go the the pig village to help with the fighr or yoy can go to buffalo herds or even run in to the swamp dont fight them let other things kill them

And for the sanity pick flowers bees make them come back dont worry or get green mushrooms cooked and even cactus they will hirt tou health but you gat 15 sanity each one

Why don't you use woodie's weremoose idol beacouse u can charge and destroy broken clockworks and statues also you gain 80% damage reduction and deal something like 55 damage?

Hi Beard, thank you for your guides! I just started playing DST and your videos have been so helpful! I was wondering though, how does one get the visual display that you have when you're playing? Your screen shows the season, temperature, and hp of mobs, and I was wondering how I could see that when I'm playing. Is this something I can adjust in settings?

Beard has some mods on (which you can get in DST's workshop on steam). As for which ones he has in specific, I am unaware sadly, but this would be my best guess: *"Simple Health Bar DST" (shows the hearts above the characters) *"Combined Status" (Shows the season and temperature on the top right, etc.) *"Geometric placement" (Shows a grid when placing structures and such) *"Show me" (Displays the HP of mobs and stats of all kinds of stuff when your mouse is hovering on them/it). He may have more, or maybe I didn't look at the right ones (especially the health bar one. There are a lot of those), but I hope this helps all the same! Have a good day.
