Is this still working after the rework? I know this was from the old beta days. But it is my understanding that crab king was boosted and tbey changed some mechanics or is this video up-to-date? (I'm confused). What modern method do you recommend (if out-of-date)?

This method for the most part still works I believe, just make sure to bring sanity food like cooked cactus so that the sea nightmare creatures don’t ruin the fight

I think because he's on a boat, and wavy Jones doesn't spawn because there's nothing to mess up (no sails or boat patches on boat)

The nightmare creatures have to spawn on land. So insanity won't be a factor other than making it a lot darker. Using the lazy explorer from boat to boat however could cause a nightmare creature to appear, but that might just be a bug.
