No sir, it’s expected of a trained level 6 pianist. This performer has trained, although not extensively as can be seen in the bridge of his wrist. His natural ability, however, is immense!
@abidababida70966 ай бұрын
@@renelpatat i get that a highly skilled pianist can play in 2 different times with his/her hands but i’ve never seen anyone keep the time with 1 hand while going thru like 15 different times from slow to fast with the other hand. I’m a drummer so i know about timing and playing in 2 different times but what is done in this video is something i’ve never seen before
@Eryndel6 ай бұрын
Not to take away from the level of skill and training this pianist has - but at a certain level you are relying on a level of muscle memory in each hand. It's how you can train yourself to play very different pieces with your left and right hand. There's some added benefit that the tripleted guitar section does have an underlying beat to it that can sync up in places with the bass line. You can see it in the performance where he turns his attention to the left hand during the right hand triplet section, shifting the muscle memory to his right hand. This is like watching the amazing things athletes do during the olympics. It's incredible what humanity is capable of.
