Yoriiroy Mega Man’s long since been confirmed to operate off of Solar Energy, seeing how Proto Man operates off an unstable version which Light perfected by the time he got around to creating Rock/Mega. Also a copy of Nintendo Power covering MM3 explained that the little blue notches on his helmet are solar panels. This was taken from an art book called Rockman x Daizukan, which is Japanese exclusive by the title (translations can be found here: kobun20.interordi.com/2012/12/24/rockman-schemata/ ) Always nice to see Capcom reaffirm this stuff or give nods to its own continuity though (like Cossack’s cameo in Tundra Man’s gallery bio).
