I am glad I don’t take any of the supplements you caution against taking! Back in my early 50s I read a book about peri menopause and menopause. The doctor who wrote the book explained that calcium supplements are not necessarily good to take and the recommended ratio of calcium to magnesium intake is reversed from what it should be. It should be a higher amount of magnesium over calcium. So I have not supplemented with calcium since then. I finished menopause when I was 52. I am 68 years old now and my bones are strong. I am grateful I read that book so I didn’t fall for the much pushed idea that women in their 50s need to take calcium supplements.

I'm still on iron. I take Ferritin 325mg every day. My ferritin level was a 2. I've had a blood transfusion in the past and earlier this year I had an infusion of iron or ferritin. I was advised that I no longer need to take ferritin but shortly after I had the infusion I started having my period. My periods are heavy and I am 53 and no end is in sight. I was on blood thinners and would basically bleed out every month. In May I had 15 inches of my colon removed as they found a non cancerous mass and they thought this was why I have been anemic. Right now I have been bleeding almost 2 1/2 months. That's why I'm continuing to take iron. Any suggestions?

I want to order his vitamins but I DO NOT want to subcribe to monthly shipments. How can I order just one time, without a subscription? Also, when I did go to place an order, i noticed a foreign message at each entry box, and that scared me away. I am afraid of being scammed by ordering with a bogus sight.

I’ve looked everywhere for an answer for this…I wanted to take a good krill oil supplement for the omega 3 benefits and all it benefits. I take 10mg per day of Eliquis for two years now as I had Tavr then. I’m doing fine and do not have any bruising or bleeding issues. I’ve heard krill oil is absorbed better than fish oil. One article said the slowing of blood clotting can be caused by krill oil but rare. I was going to try, though more expensive, the Verified Research brand which has the recommended levels of EPA and DHA. I would love your opinion. I want to take the krill oil for all its benefits. I’m a 72 year old female. I currently take the K2 with D3 suggested by you. I stopped taking calcium supplements at least a year ago. Can you help me?
@DrLivingood Жыл бұрын
Research shows this specific concentrated fish oil will absorb better than krill. It’s why I developed it. Also it has the most absorbable turmeric so you get two for one: store.drlivingood.com/products/livingood-daily-omegas

@DrLivingood2 жыл бұрын
K1 is for blood clotting. K2 is for heart health, blood vessel health, and the proper absorption of calcium into your bones so it does not end up in your arteries. Primary Vit K we need in our system is K2, especially when taking vitamin D! Check out this article: drlivingood.com/vitamin-k2-benefits-heart/ We're not big fans of aspirin!
