in 1v1 people are egomaniacs. i was too, can't deny it, but after a while seeing how bad i was, i simply chilled and accepted my 0-3 defeats trying to learn how to parry, gb, counter gb, use hidden stance, do combos etc etc. finally, hundreds of duels later i got pretty gut. now i'm really happy if someone beats me 3-1 or 3-0 and then accepts rematches over and over, i get to learn from them and eventually even beat them. salty&ego don't make you git gud

I personally enjoy it when you play against someone in a game with skewed odds. Like Call Of Duty when your team leaves or GTA Online in literally any battle ever. It’s satisfying beating someone 1v1, but when you beat someone, and they’re whole squad of friends, while they’re using higher quality gear and weapons - now that’s priceless. I’ve beaten teams 4v1 on Gta before and they literally have the gall to message me I’m a noob or I use cheap tactics. It’s like bro, there are four of you. I could turn up in a freaking tank and you still have a huge advantage.

Great video, I'm not a fan of the salt videos usually because that kind of stuff (although funny for a few minutes) ultimately ruins gaming communities, BUT this guy handled it perfectly, he literally played his raider like the guy wanted and that dude in all reality said "let me win or you are trash" when he told him to not top heavy after light parry's. Some people are so proud that they legitimetly dont believe that if they lost it was because there's someone out there that could beat them. Needless to say, this man earned me as a sub.

Dude ikr I've encountered so many people like that in Titanfall2 you would not believe the amount little kids that think they're the number 1 player in the world and can't accept the fact that there is someone who is better and more experienced than them. Whenever one of them sends me salt accusing me of cheating i respond with "how am i cheating?" And they always respond with either wallhacks or aimbot even tho there are tools in the game that temporarily grant you these perks/abilities. They then proceed to challenge me to a 1v1, most of the time I accept if I've got time to kill and procede to wipe the floor with them using an underpowered or meme tier gun/class and i just sit back and watch as my message box is filled with tone after tone of salt from them and they're friends trying to get a reaction out of me but i just don't respond, report them all for spamming and block them so I don't match such toxic people again in the future.

That being said, when a player decides to be toxic and spam “thanks” after a kill or humps the air ect. It makes people frantic. Watching this was so satisfying, I just got back on it after 2 years. That's the difference I see between shooters and fighting games : in shooters, you can blame latency, weapon selection, things like gratuitous mechanics like automated airstrikes and missile strikes so people complain that the game is too casual friendly. Then in fighting games like SF or even For Honor, they prefer to call the other players trash for using tactics that are entirely part of the game and it's THEIR job to trick and overcome your own tactics. That guy was bad and couldn't take defeat at face value. Worst is, since he was infuriated, he probably learned nothing from the fight and is just going to keep being bad and overly salty.
