I'm blown away Coda. Even by your standards of incredible cinematic animations, this by far takes the cake as your most cohesive, lively animated, and beautifully edited project to date! The amount of detail you were able to get out of a simple game like Tattletail is genuinely fantastic, and I have to be honest, I genuinely started freaking out a little bit at the Pink Elephants on Parade reference, SUCH a clever detail and Weretoons did a fantastic job bringing it to life! A lot of animations depict mama as just a possessed toy. 0:23 In this one, she is depicted as an enraged, vengeful, determined mother to “put the children RIGHT back to bed”. That is how the children see her. More animations depict the “children” to be careless, and they very well could be, yet they still fear mama. I am not saying this is lore accurate, I just think this is a good way of seeing her and the other toys.

I WISH I COULD EXPRESS TO YOU IN WORDS JUST HOW INCREDIBLY. HOW VERY DEARLY I ADORE THIS. THIS IS GENUINELY VERY ARGUABLY THE MOST INCREDIBLE ANIMATION I HAVE SEEN IN YEARS, AND POSSIBLY EVER. Not to mention that I’ve adored Tattletail since I was a wee tot. The composition and effects and the sheer skill in every movement and the *colors* and just Everything is so captivating and well done. I wasn’t expecting the hand-drawn animation bit at all but it complements the flow of the video so well. Huge props to Weretoons. Such an inspiring piece of independent work, it looks like you had a lot of fun putting this together :-) I will definitely be revisiting this regularly throughout the future. Tattletail doesn’t get a lot of love these days so it really is delightful to see such a dedicated little artistic piece for it.
