I wouldn't describe it as a "service" as so much as an industry. I don't want to shill here, but I would have to recommend making, and paying for, your final arrangements now. Yes, go and talk to your local funeral director/funeral home, and see what the costs are for whatever services they render. Also, you should explicitly state in your last will and testament what you want done as far as your final arrangements are concerned. If anything, spare your surviving family the expense and emotional distress that will occur upon your passing. As always, get everything in writing and keep a copy of the contract with your will/testament. As for myself, the last thing I wanted was to stick my family with a +$10,000 funeral bill. This is the last great taboo of western civilization. We simply don't want to deal with dying and death. There are plenty alternatives out there, but you have to take charge and look for them. I've lived in my house for 18 years now and have multiple pet graves., all with headstones or crosses, I decorate them at Halloween. My last little fur baby was 18 years old, she would come outside every evening with me to water the garden and organise the solar lights, so now she's out there in her own garden and solar lights forever. The neighbors cat visits where she's buried. He would beat her up when she was alive but must sense her being in the grave. I'm sure she's not pleased he's out there!! 😾I love all my pets and make sure they're not forgotten. I like the idea of a pet cemetery for people who can't bury them at home etc. How awesome. RIP fur babies 🐾😻💚💚

They are my little babies. so yes, everyone has their pets as their children because they are attached to their pets. They love their pets so much that they call them their children because they are part of them. I love animals. Animals are so cool. I love all animals.

Helpful tip: For kitty's and small dogs a 5 gal bucket from hardware store like home depot or lowes has a snap lock lid, put some construction adhesive around the lip before locking on lid, their pretty airtight so as to keep smell from attracting coyotes etc., I provide sanctuary for alot of feral kitty's and have unfortunately had to dig alot of kitty graves, just FYI

I paid $2000 for a plot to bury the cremains of my dogs (# 20) over the last many years which included a headstone and a border trim and go there regularly to decorate and keep up. It is at Pet Haven in Gardena, CA. There is one woman (cremaied) buried with her 4 dogs there.

Next door to my former job at the animal shelter in NJ, they had a very well keep pet cemetery own by a private owner. I know its been for sale for years, but they are not longer taking care of it. At Christmas time they would decorate the whole lot. It so sad the way it looked the last time I was there. I wanted to burred my pets ashes there, but not any longer. I haven't been there in a year, maybe someone else is taking care of it? I will check next week.

If you buried a loved one in the desert the hot dry sand and the hot weather will most likely mummify and preserve theyre remains. You will also probably get wild plants growing around the burial area that will take advantage of the moisture from the remains. Cool little pet cemetery, rest in Peace to those beloved pets 🖤

We cremated 3 of our fur babies. 😢 They sit atop of my dresser. We have a few more that is buried under a beautiful firmossa tree ( it's only beautiful in the summertime ) and I believe they are all happy with the choices we made for them

There's also the (illegal) practice of scattering the cremated remains on public lands (Death Valley is famous for this). You can also choose to have your loved one's ashes scattered at sea.

There is an official pet cemetery in Cedar Hill TX. Off of US 67. It’s very fancy. The horse from the TV show Lone Ranger is buried there. My dogs have saved my life, therefore I will protect them at all cost.

There is a similar pet cemetery in Fremont California just off highway 880. It now resides in an industrial area. I suspect the company that now owns the land takes very good care of it. Actually it looks better today that when it was in business. 😎

I lost my first fur baby back on December 29th 2021 from Kidney Disease she was 16 years 2 months and 29 days old I lost my second fur baby in February last year as well I wanted them cremated my personal opinion is pet cremation due to relocation of homes if had to by choice or else where ❤️ but I do love pet cemetery videos as well it’s just not something I would do with them alone I want to be buried with my fur babies when I go to the pearly white gates in the sky ❤️😊

I live in Arizona. After a rain the ground gets soft. A lot of animals don’t like peppermint, so that will help animals from digging them up. Stones on top help. Another great video Sir.

for the ground a few shovels and a pick work unless you have access to a small jackhammer but that will be loud. at 2 inches into the ground is cray and sand and its why the ground is hard. also bring a stone with the pet's name chiped into it since the wooden cross wont last.

Not to be grim, but the reality is that even though you pay to have a service, burial, coffin + a plot doesn't mean anything once they clear out the cemetery after so many years to do grave recycling. The only way you wont go to waste is to become fused with a tree anymore 😂 cool video anyways I always hear of pet cemeteries but never see them

How do you "UNOFFICIALLY" bury someone out there??? After someone dies, can you just go and pick up the body??? Do you throw them in the trunk of put them in the back seat and put the seat belt on??? If they die in your home,, can you take them straight to bury them??? Can you go to jail for that???

I am pretty sure you would have to report it so the police can determine under what circumstances the person died. After the investigation the deceased will either go to the Medical Examiner’s office or the funeral home.

The Desert Turtle is a protected species. So be careful out there people you might get arrested. I don’t think people should be polluting the desert with burying their pets. You can have your pet cremated by a Veterinarian, and its ashes in a beautiful container. I think it’s sad to leave your pet all alone there.
