That ugly plastic framed mirror is similar to the mirrors we have in our bathrooms now and one frame is cracked. I really don’t want to spend $100 (x3) for new mirrors! I don’t have all these fancy tools but I feel like I could create something decent from what we do have now. This is such a good idea! Thanks for sharing!

Hey,,guy???. Out of all the proper stuff I saw you in action with the mirror frame replacement. Nice work, speaking well of you in all phases of your job,frame replacement,staining/protectorant of preserving of wood. Beautifully done,safety first ,as how you operated machines, beautiful, period. In and during my time as a carpenter in Chas. S.C,,, I observed many times workers who did'nt pay for the drills,screw guns etc use them as a hammer,,, Im sure you were so excited about doing the video you got over confident and rushed,then hammered with the battery end of screw gun. Still, you spoke well and did a fantastic job and for a young guy,,glad to have watched a young guy great at his trade.. hands down,,beautiful.. 😮😂

Nice, simple frame but well done. The care you take with something like this speaks to your level of commitment to woodworking. Did we actually see a smile at the end?

I’m always breaking leads. That one looks like it’s got a thick lead diameter.

Quick question-why did you wet down the wood before using the brand? I got a brand from your recommendation (Gearheart) and it’s worked well so am just curious if wetting the wood helps the final look somehow? Thanks.

It makes it more crisp. Try it out 👍

Great video. Question: have you been happy with the Makita sliding miter saw? I want to get rid of my Dewalt because it takes up too much space.

Yea but I think I'm going to try out the new Delta cruzer soon.

Or don't? It's just a mirror frame. Not that difficult.
@tldrttyl2 жыл бұрын
You can totally do it with cheap tools - just takes more time and some ingenuity

You wasted your money on that festool. You could of accomplished the same exact thing with a 100% biscuit joiner. But in all honesty it is not even needed on a frame like that. "Serious" woodworkers know that...

You must be a "real serious" woodworker. 🤣 🤣 🤣

I bought it for other things (mostly table bases and cabinets) but it did come in handy here. Appreciate you watching. 👍
