Thank you! And one more useful tip, for the persons who have difficulties in opening bottles or jars: put a rubber glove between your hand and the cover, then turn. It is much easier!
@arleneportsmouth126310 күн бұрын
I have always saved the rubber gloves that have the typical hole between the thumb and the index finger for several reasons but the main reason is to move heavy items as the grip prevents me from dropping the slippery item and also have these swatches in a drawer in every room in case I need to open something that is slippery and difficult to open. I also have to keep one on the shower handle because they only make one style for Price Pfister and it is a perfect circle with no way to grip it. No one at Price Pfister ever thought that a human would have wet hands in the shower and want to prevent themselves from scalding or freezing cold water while they are covered in slippery body wash shampoo or conditioner... for the first 3 years I had no other choice but to end up with scars from being scalded by the boiling hot water and I finally had the time to grab a pair of holy gloves and tie it tightly around the handle so that I am able to turn the shower handle to prevent scalding or freezing cold water from burning my skin. Could not believe that Home Depot and Lowe's only had one style for the price Pfister shower handle. I have had so many house guests that came to this house and they never took more than one 5-minute shower because they were unable to turn the shower handle. The next place I live I will make sure there are no Price Pfister shower fixtures.

I have a rubber garlic clove roller. That is a very practical acquisition! It can also do the job of getting more grip on bottle caps and jar caps when they are too hard to twist open. And by the way, for a champagne cork that won't come off easy, use the nut cracker tongues, grab the cork and twist it with the tonges, it works very well and almost effortlessly.

I appreciate the many ways you've shared to re-purp torn rubber gloves. However, imho, the best uses steer clear of contact with food products for health reasons. Using a glove's fingers for bottle caps, for example, may cause exposure to germs; fingers are not always clean after all and germs can easily reside inside the rubber fingers. Great video!!

Bonjour.
