I'm sure the Nama is a better quaility juicer but he is so clearly biased before even starting the video. I have the " chinese knockoff" Amumu brand and love it. I wasn't in a place where I wanted to spend $500 on a juicer and also had a $150 gc on Amazon and the juicer also a $50 off coupon. I basically got it for free. I have been juicing for over 20 years and have owned 4 juicers and this Chines Knockoff has been my favorite so far. It may not be the top of the line quality like Nama but it does a great job! Few people can afford a Nama. I have been juicing so much more because it does make juice easier and it's easier to clean than most other juicers.

Awesome video, these hopper machines are mindblowing, had my share of juicers in the last 10 years, All broken, my last juicer, recommended by John, the sana 606, had it 3 years now, and the added benefit it uses the sana oil extractor, fast forward, the hoppers turn up, as my finances didn't stretch far enough, I bought from amazon 2 weeks ago following rave reviews on amazon the fridja 2500 hopper slow juicer, so far so good, John calls it a knock of, I clean it the way he cleans the nama j2, the warranty is 1 year. If I get 2 years out of it I will be happy, thanks to John and all his viewers, happy juicing.

Appreciate your videos and have been watching them for years. Much appreciate your gardening channels, really great stuff. A higher price does not always guarantee a better product and this is why research and reviews are so valuable. A good warranty, customer service and replacement parts is very important. Do we know if the the Chinese product is knockoff or simply a different product of the same style. I've had many juicers over the years and in many products a popular design change causes a design change in many just for the marketing perspective. China makes luxury products to basic products, whatever the market/buyer wants. If they called it "Naama; I would agree that it is a knockoff. Repeatedly saying 'Chinese knockoff' vs. 'Chinese made version' or 'Amzchef' would seem more authentic and less bias. In a place with less space a machine that weighs less is important as you will likely be moving it about the kitchen a couple times a day. Open the machines so we can see the motor details instead of guessing. I do agree on the important quality of the Nama, and I do own things from S. Korea and Taiwan (110v sprouter, Joyoung milker). If you imported that product from China and the product does not match the box that needs to be reported. Places like Daiso have brushes to clean such things. Send the juices out to a lab to test nutrition quality. Run a bit of water or light produce through the machine at the end to get the remainder of the juice out. Agreed the Nama is a great product. I do not own one but have used one. What do you do with the pulp? No appliances should end up in the landfill, recycle them, try Earth911.

Honestly, the VRT350 makes a juice that is similar in nutrition than the Nama J2. The J2 will likely make a little higher yield and put less pulp in the juice, however, it is much easier to use, but cleaning will take you a little longer. So if you are generally happy with your VRT350, there is no reason to upgrade.

I am ready to invest in a quality juicer but I am stuck between three models. Nama J2, Sana 868, and the Hurom H400. Each of those models have their own pros and cons. for easy cleaning: I would say H400 All three juicers will juice beets carrots about the same, the H400 and 868 will put more pulp in the juice. (otherwise yields are within 10% of each other). All three can make nut butter and sorbet I would say hurom has the worst warranty 2 yr on parts and has been known not to stock replacement parts for older machines. Sana and Nama have the best warranty service. If it was me, I personally would get the J2 with the sorbet attachment. I will review the H400 soon. I have not been a fan of the screen less design. and the sana 868 is nothing more than a Kuvings EVO820 (older model)

I can vouch for the Amumu not being up to par with the Nama J2. I tried the Amumu one time: First thing, one of the suction cup footings fell right off, next it clogged right away and there is no easy way, like there is with the J2, to unclog it. Once I unclogged it, it was easy to clean, but unclogging took awhile. Last complaint I have is a pretty important one: On amazon the photo of the Amumu shows the juicer filled with grapes and apples. Instructions tell you, that you cannot juice Grapes. False advertising! I just ordered the Nama J2 with John's code. I have no doubt it will easily be the better choice. I have been juicing for over 20 years and just retired my old Omega (bought on the advice of John--it was a TANK! still works but I want a vertical masticator now). Thank you John!

I have to disagree with you. I have had both. If you can't afford the Nama the Amazon Juicer is fine. Mine was not loud. I really couldn't notice the difference in pulp or juice quality. I sent the Amazon back when the Nama came. Both have made juicing easier. I have juiced for years with an Omega single feed which did a good job but took longer to process. One of the main reasons I purchased the Nama was because it did sorbet. I paid $179 for the Amazon machine before christmas.

I have not yet tested the H400, but to me, it looks like the H300 with some minor changes, including SMALLER Hopper, so the hopper is smaller than the J2 now. Plus it is a screenless design, that may work better or worse in terms of yield and pulp in the juice, depending on what you are making. In the past, generally (but not always) the screen of the J2 will beat the screenless huroms in terms of more yield and less pulp in the juice. The kicker for me is the warranty, the NAma J2 has a full 15 yr warranty on the WHOLE machine, while the H400 only has a 2 yr parts warranty and 10 yr on the motor. So even if the yields were the same, I would go for the J2 since the parts warranty is 7.5x longer!

Do you juice carrots? Carrots will leave a residue on the auger that looks turquoise. Hard water can also create a film on the parts. The way to clean this off is to 1. The Nama J2 is a high-end juicer, and it is not for everyone. It offers incredible value for a well-designed machine and the price is COMPARABLE to other high-end juicers available in Germany. For Example, the Similiar Hurom H320 is 599 euros, so the Nama is a bit more, but IMO it is also better, first, by having a 7.5x longer (15 yrs vs 2 yr warranty on parts). When I priced shipping to Germany it was about 20-30 euro.

I have the knockoff. Not perfect by any means, especially with soft fruits, but it works good enough to save $600. The fast cleanup is amazing. My biggest concern is that flimsy flap that will break and bring the juicer's life to an end.

Plastic juicers are not recommend to put in the dishwasher, as dishwasher can melt or damage parts when on the heat dry cycle. Furthermore the harsh detergents can break down the plastic and cause premature failure. Finally, even if you dishwash, the juicing screen will not get clean and dislodged of pulp, so it must be cleaned with a brush. That all being said, some customer still put their machines in the dishwasher, but if you choose to do so, do it at your own risk and at the risk of potentially voiding warranty.

Nama had a Black Friday Sale where it was $80.00 off. Don't know if it's still going on? Otherwise I think you can at least get a 10% discount & they ship it for free. I got mine within a week. Also I recommend getting the Pulp Screen Also. This Juicer is absolutely Amazing, so much time saved. & it has a 15 Year Warranty on Everything!!

Mine is Amumu and is exactly the same. I actually love mine so far. I've been juicing for over 20 years and have had 3 other juices and I'm really liking this. I may eventually by the Nama but couldn't afford it right now and had a $100 Amazon GC and the juicer was $50 off, so it barely cost me $50

If you would've been less bias your comparison video would've probably been more convincing for the nama. As a viewer I don't really trust your review. You state the color of the juice, the content weighed the same, right. Was there the same amount of carrots and oranges, maybe one had more or less but weighed the same. I can't trust paid reviews that don't at least fake a unbiased comparison video. But thanks for the review, you really sold us on the AMUMU, lol.

The Hurom H320N is NOT available in the USA, so I am unable to get my hands on one. If you send me one, I am glad to test it!
