I can get why the commentary would get annoying and why people would want to turn it off, but at the same time you really have to applaud just how dynamic and reactive it is. You've gotta have pre-recorded lines for basically any conceivable situation you might see in a fighting game, and then properly recognize and then apply those lines in a way that feels at least somewhat accurate and natural. That ain't easy to do, someone deserved a raise for this!

It all comes down to how many lines are recorded; if Tasty Steve only has 2 or 3 lines for when a super comes out it's going to get old IMMEDIATELY.

I'm actually amazed at how smooth the commentary went to the fight. It's such a shame that so much work went into something that everybody is going to have off by default at how annoying it is.

I think for the most part all it's gonna do is familiarize people with commentators if they actually develope an interest in watching sf in tournaments. Which is a good thing, but i don't know if it really adds anything to the game, even for casuals

It’d be great if we can have them off for fights, then turn them on for replays. Short of an actual coach, the commentary can help improve game knowledge of newer players.

The animation for this game is also insane. When characters get hit, their body moves and reacts like they’re actually getting hit, then they move back into their idle animation, unless they get hit more in which the effects of them getting hit keep going. Amazing.

Just from watching the timing feels like it's everywhere. It looks from fast paced to waiting for the right time to link combos. I like how the drive leads to big combos and nice a greater sense of mix ups. Nice gameplay brother

@@daniloka42 Amen. It felt a little bad that Max didn’t recognize Super, but I guess that’s just par for the course of trying to know so many people, and then there’s pretenders out there. Like you said, it would be amazing to see them rematch a few times and figure the ins-and-ours of the characters. I’ve always thought that’s the best way to play a fighting game - match with someone who challenges you, and give tips and pointers for weaknesses and flaws in each others’ play style.

I have to say, the 'bull mode' is GREAT. The idea of winning just by let your opponent fall on the ground is a nice change. This is what i like in a videogame, modes that twists the gameplay. I would also like to see the same mode without the bull, but this is nice too.

You guys may laugh at me but my introduction to street fighter was street fighter IV .....on 3ds. It was my launch game and I was super excited to play on this new system. Passing by others with 3ds in their pockets would do simulation battles(if I remember correct). The 3d mode was awesome! The touch screen,though broken, was a nice touch for casuals such as myself. Then there’s those making the most absurd and wtf creations…with this create a character mode. Capcom has added something that honestly works for better or worse.
