When I was PrincessTards age I said much worse things about Middle Eastern people to their faces than what she said. They just laughed it off because they understood that being a child I didn't know jack about what I was saying. I bet most of the people commenting who were "offended" by that comment, aren't even Indian; American or Asian. We live in a state where people are far too easily offended nowadays, especially if the thing that offends you has nothing to do with you. As for reprimanding her, you made a good call choosing not to do it on camera. Let's face it, we think we know what you do all day every day, but these vlogs are only 20 minutes of a 24 hour day. You parenting your children isn't something we need to see, in the same way of you going to the toilet, or just grabbing a snack from the pantry isn't something we need to see. These videos are here to make us happy and entertain us, and seeing Shay having that talk with Avia would have been neither that happy or entertaining. On the whole, people need to calm themselves and just think that a 9 year old girl will stay stupid things and you can parent your child in anyway you want. There is no real right or wrong way to reprimand your child, and as a parent you should be able to make the choice to do it how you please.

They are leasing an apartment in LA because the house lease is due and they either have to resign the lease or move out. They have the carpet from ikea for the new apartment because it has Harwood floors. Then Shay flew to Idaho to purchase their home so he can move the family back to Idaho and he and collet will commute back and forth when they need to go to maker.

I had recently moved to another state and was crying and breaking down, I miss everything and everyone about my old town, and I just started remembering all of the memories and crying, and crying really hard. Meaning that I whenever you make a joke, I take it as a joke and nothing else. And when the kids say goofy things, I hear a child being goofy. This is exactly what I was afraid of - that only the stupid comments targeting PT and people whining would get addressed. I wish he would have addressed the more sensible concerns: that he left it in, and that people hoped he educated her off camera. No one asked or expected for her to be reprimanded on camera. I think we all know that's kind of messed up. We simply expressed confusion about why he left it in, and hope that she received some education about it afterwards instead of allowing that racial stereotype to perpetuate. Yes, Native Americans may have once fulfilled that stereotype in their past, but allowing PT to think that they are perpetually like that - or worse, that they don't exist anymore so who cares - is what's dangerous.

The only reason older people take offence also is because their minds aren't as innocent meaning THEY'RE the ones with ill intent. My 7 year old cousin came home the other day and read me and my brother a story about 'filling peoples buckets' I thought it was quite clever and relevant!
