Don't Waste Leftover Rice, You Can Make This Crispy Snacks Recipe | Rice Aloo Nashta Recipe | N'Oven
INGREDIENTS & PROCESS:
1 Cup Cooked Rice
Mash Well
2 Boiled Mashed Potatoes
½ Tspn Salt
½ Tspn Cumin
1 Tspn Ginger
2 Green Chilli
1 Tbsp Coriander Leaves
½ Tspn Chat Masala
2 Tbsp Flour
2 Tbsp Breadcrumb
Mix Well
Grease Oil in Hand
Make Shape
Coat with Breadcrumb
Fry in Medium Heated Oil
Fry Until Golden & Crispy

Tried it today it was just too yum. The flour I used was corn flour. Since it was for my son, i skipped chillies and ginger. Included chilli powder and some garam masala. Even made few with cheese center. Thanks for sharing.

Very good way of presenting leftover rice . My suggestion is that if you are not averse to eggs you may add half an egg or full egg white to this amount of rice and potato mix. This will enhance taste as well as nutrition. Thanks for sharing .

Baking will not make them crisp I suppose. These snacks are at their best when fried . Of course you are free to experiment

Actually you dont need potatoes for that...I make these snacks with just rice and spices. No egg no flour no aloo just rice and for frying I use rapeseed oil.
