On my trip to Italy, I scheduled a long layover in Paris so that I could experience a little bit of Paris before making my way to meet my family in Italy for a weeklong trip.

How did you get from the airport to the city center and back? Where did you store your luggage? I would be much afraid to miss my connecting flight.

@@hhielscher great questions. My luggage was checked so I only had a sling shoulder bag with me. I took the RER B line and switched at Châtelet taking the M 4 line and getting off at Saint Germain des-prés. I was VERY nervous about it and VERY scared. I got a little turned around in the tunnel on my way back which slightly freaked me out but I found the right train with time to spare.
