Kj. For video, its not a hands down win, you should test more scenarios to confirm this. In a very bright sunny day the 16pro max tends to overexpose alot especially with a subject or person in the frame. The front camera is clearly better on the S24U too. But in low light the 16 pro max weakness during the day becomes its strength as its better. And yes the log mode on the 16PM is untouchable. Great review

I tested both the 16 pro max and s24 ultra at the store today and I still think the s24 ultra is way more fun to use like my s23 ultra. The s pen w gestures and sound effects , multi tasking, open operating system, way better display lightyears ahead corning glass no reflections, good lock, emulation at a higher level w no limitations, Samsung TV ecosystem etc . I'll wait for the s25 ultra and fold 6 special edition or fold 7 . I left Apple years ago and androids like my red magic 9 make me much happier. Even the honor magic v2 Porsche edition and v3 and Vivo x100 ultra impress me more w Huawei triple foldable

The camera button is a gimmic for sure ! All the funtions it has can be done more precisely on the touch screen.

Also camera comparison are almost useless on phones. Flagship phones all take great photos / video alot of it comes to personal preference on situation and colour science. True to life doesn't always mean better photos because you want to enhance certain tones or features in a photo. Hence why you shoot in raw on any mirrorless cameras.

Apple could have gotten away without the camera button. They should have priorotized landscape orientation and positioned the button lower. If that was lower, it could have been used as a haptic button for gaming too.

i have the 16 pro max, but im. ot a blind sheep and i admit that this year Samsung overall all in 1 package is crazy good and superior. S pen ( that u can use for remote shutter ) , DeX, Best looking display on the planet, crqzy good sound due dolby atmos and Aptx codec same build quality as the iphone and AI delivered in europe within same regulations. What i got is excuses about EU regulations and might never get AI, and a new button that i never felt like i need it and was doing pictures and videos just fine without it. I cant wait for google to start using TSMC chips and if they prove to be as good as snapdragon i will fkn leave Apple its just hard with all other Apple hardware i have :/ but i will cuz they are no more innovative and just always after every other company in everything. Iphone = good camera video and sound and thats all about it.
