Nice setup. I love how the bike has ignition switch supply connections like that. Makes it so much easier to add stuff like this.

Right??? I wish everything had that. I had to tap into my signal light running lights on my TW haha.

Nice video. I just installed mine last week, they heat up really good after a few minutes but one thing I didn't like was the extra length like you stated. I tried to move my other controls inward so they would go on most of the way but there is a little bit of a gap between the locking ring and the grip itself and the innermost edge which could have been reduced by the manufacturer.

I tell you what plowing in 0° suck. I now remember what it was like in grade school when you come back inside after recess and your hands burn. I'm going to buy them ASAP.

They look great! I went with the Kolpin heated grips. I paid $100CAD. I had the opposite problems you've had, my grips were almost an inch shorter than my factory grips and the thumb heater got VERY hot. So much so, I had to remove it and install a small piece of exhaust heat wrap and new shrink tubing and even still, it's plenty warm. My grips have already stopped working and wires pulled out from the one side. So I'll definitely be picking up one of these! I ride a 2021 Honda Foreman Rubicon Deluxe. Thanks for the great content

I bought the tusk $20 heated grip kit to add to my TW200 and added my own relay and a nicer switch to do it properly and man let me tell you, best upgrade on the bike lol. The KLR650 will be getting the same kit as my TW soon!

What gps and mount do you have

Does this kit only come with the wiring you need to wire directly into your wiring harness or does it come with the harness that you can wire directly to your battery?
@SwankyCatProductions5 ай бұрын
They intend you to connect the red wire to a hot line on the bike, but you could also connect it direct to the battery. You'd just need to clamp the right size terminal on the end of the wire to connect it.

Heated hand grips. Your getting spoiled but that is ok. They make riding a lot more comfortable. You might think about a windshield for riding in cold temps. My can am thumb heater usually has to be on longer time and on a higher heat vs the handgrips.
@SwankyCatProductions2 жыл бұрын
Haha true. I've thought about the windshield but I'm not sure I can handle the look of it.
@stevew52122 жыл бұрын
@@SwankyCatProductions you will adapt.. its only on during cold temps as long as you get one that is easily put on or taken off. Dont get one that is permentaly attached.

I have a 2024 polaris sportsman 570 EPS and I installed the Factory OEM hand warmers and they suck The Throttle warmer works great but not the hand grips. Very disappointed. I will tear the whole thing off and go like you did.

Mmm that's not good. I hope these work better for you!

Just got these, they work fine until i turn my lights on. Once my light are on they shut off and wont turn back in unless im on the throttle. Bikes always over 12v. Anyone come up with this issue? This is on a 2021 can am renegade

Your stator produces more power when you’re revving the bike. It doesn’t output enough to supply both with sufficient power. You can get your stator rewrapped to produce more power

I liked your placement of your GPS and was curious on your X2 if you were recording in 360? I have the X2 as well and have made a couple of videos with it in my RZR but find that a there is more of a learning curve using Adobe Premiere. Not very fond of their software when it comes to cutting out sections of your video.
@SwankyCatProductions2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yep, it's 360 and then I just use the Insta software to aim and lock the footage. Then I process that into a normal video and edit it alongside my helmet cam footage.

1,000 feet or so. Just been a really cold spring so far. Snow has been coming and going all month.

The title should be - Don't Waste Your Money on Tusk Lock On Grips. The controller doesn’t last and then the grips are useless. I’ve got them on my ATV. Have managed to repair broken wires on the controller a couple times but now it’s done. No replacement available so have to start again. Won’t be Tusk brand.
