Another tip for efficiency is only leveling artifacts to 16. It takes so much to push an artifact from 16 to 20, so it's better to get all your important characters geared with level 16 artifact sets and then start pushing them to 20.

To any new players watching this video right now: Hope you’re enjoying the game! I’m currently AR39 and I used to follow the adage of saving your resin for AR45 artifact farming. However, with the recent release of Inazuma, even my main dps who is lvl 70 with a lvl 60 weapon can barely get me through the new region without getting damaged a lot. What I can recommend to beginners, after finishing the Archon Quests for both Mondstadt and Liyue, is farming mostly the weekly bosses once, then move on to explore Mondstadt and Liyue to at least 70% since you gain a lot of 4* artifacts from just exploring. New players should really take your time with the game and enjoy it! Solve puzzles, do world quests, commissions, and story quests. Then, if you’ve got time and resin to spare, farm the artifact domains to at least get a full set corresponding to your main dps or fav character, with the extras for your support and subs. Everything else will be fodder for those 4 main artifacts until you hit AR45. Have fun, guys!

Having a structured team also helps. 1 dps, 1 subdps, 1 support and 1 healer. I personally prefer Noelle for healer, since I can pop on her shield and keep smashing without fear. Never struggled in inazuma. My team (Xiangling, Fischl, Anemo Traveler, Noelle).

Also agree with these other 2, if you struggle with taking a lot of damage, Zhongli's shield is helpful, or make sure to have a healer or 2 on the team. I use Zhongli for shield, then Bennet and Xingqui for heals. I used to use Qiqi for heals, but figured out I like Zhonglis shield better. But she can heal like crazy

For others under Adventure Rank 40 here's what I got from this video: Level everyone you want to use to 60 and ascend if you're AR 35+. After that, only prioritize leveling your DPS. Use resin to level up weapons and talents first and foremost. Also, do bosses weekly but only if you aren't going to reach the next World Level within the week.

Not really. Direct investment on DPS would and should always be the priority. No matter how op your supports are, the damage would still scale based on your DPS character. For example, if Hu Tao is your carry and is lvl 70 6-6-6 and your Xinqiu has better investment with lvl 90 9-9-9, do you think this comp would outdamage a Hu Tao 90 9-9-9 with XQ 70 6-6-6? You don't need to share this misinformation that carries, in many cases, should not be invested directly and instead push it for the supports. No. For endgame you need at least 2 DPS characters fully invested and their best support semi invested to full clear all the Abyss floors. A lvl 70 Diona or Sucrose can be a viable support for almost any team comp on any high world level with lvl 80-90 monsters than a lvl 70 DPS character that can't outdamage anything on world 7-8.

An alternative option: ppl have recommended me to use the time from ar 40-45 to gather materials for ascension/leveling up/talents etc. for when I hit 50 and focus on artifacts after 45. Obviously you can do artifacts here and there in between to try and strengthen your characters. But in the end it is a game and play it as you would enjoy it :)

Here I am, almost AR 43 and I still haven't decided on my actual team *chuckles* Frankly: AR levels so ridiculously fast, it's tough to keep the characters I use up-to date enough that content isn't a royal PITA. There is no way I could spare resin for artifact grinding right now.

It's better to slow down and don't rush it. Temptation to pull fates grows stronger the more time you spent every gaming session. Thanks to this video, I could theoretically reduce my everyday time by an hour or 2, obsessing over grinding mora and etc. Less gaming time reduces chances for impulsive mistakes, thus being more efficient with your stuff. But don't forget to enjoy, any team comp will work as long as you have fun... I don't care what people say about my dps xiangling xD i just love her.

I've never had a consistent team too, I'm that type of player who tries to make all characters shine, like I used almost everyone I have, excluding 6-7 of them bc I would've spent too much resources and some of them I got later. I'm now using Yanfei as main dps and having lots of fun and Xingqiu along with her, which I've not used that much before. Idk if I will ever have a definite team but I still want to try some characters if that will be the case

Totally agree with your statement "if you are happy with your progress". Everyone has their way of playing and investing in GI and in the end no one is wrong. I, myself, AR 51 have 60 fragile resin and did use some when I needed (events/materials farming), I never used them for artifact farming but that's me, I use all my available stamina to farm the artifacts. I handle my world pretty well without any problem. I do not play co-op with randoms only with friends maybe thats why I don't feel pressure. In the end, we all have or way of playing and there's no one rule to fit all.

Most Chong team comps don’t need the 4pc/benefit more from 2 noblesse, because melt and shatter comps (Bennett and/or Xingqiu support teams deal more damage) get rid of the cryo status through their elemental reactions. Of course, you might use something else where the cryo does benefit, so idk.

Jean is one of the best characters in the entire game. All her talents are great. She can heal, dish out damage, make enemies float in the air helplessly to buy you time to fight other mobs. The only real downside to Jean is she can't reach flying enemies, but that's fine since there are very few flying enemies in the game (eye of the storm for instance, who gets down on the ground often anyway, and eye of the storm is immune to Anemo, so...) Only other thing is, I have Jean at C0 whereas my Barbara is at C2.

Make sure your 2 Defenders pieces are the flower and feather, if possible. That way the other 3 pieces can be 5*.

WARNING you might know this by now and you might not even get a notif, but defenders will IS NOT GOOD ON ALBEDO. Even though it looks good at first glance others are MUCH MUCH better. Such as 4p archaic Petra, 2p archaic 2p glad, 2p archaic 2p no (which I think is the best set for albedo)

I normally make condensed resin for future stuff coming lot of times like weapon or talent lvl up stuff. I used to use it on xp and mora but get so much normally from premium bp to where normally I’m covered. I do have to say tho not using resin at all for xp books like he says I recommends I wouldn’t agree for mere fact enemies hardly give any xp and on the higher lvls it takes a lot of xp to lvl up once for them

At this point, I use character levels as indicators for myself. Level 70 and below means they're not fully built, 80 is fully built, 90 is DPS hyper carries.

Actually, levelling your dps/carries makes sense, because the game takes into account your level vs mob level to calculate damage.

The dmg difference is very minimal afaik = not worth the ressources (80-90 is SO much xp it's not even funny) - 10 lvls is roughly 3% dmg is what I've heard = much more worth to farm artifacts

It's worth noting that getting to 90 is more helpful on characters who scale with HP. Obviously getting your whole team to max ascension, doing talents, weapons, and artifacts is still more important, but you DO get a real benefit from having someone like Hu Tao at 90 IMO.

I literally, most definitely highly recommend to spend resin on mora. When levelling up characters up to lvl 90, it needs about 7M+ mora and especially forging weapons, making talent materials and buying food. So, earn mora.

Thats just a bad idea, ive been playing from the start and im at 30+ million mora with like 8 characters at 90, but the point is u dont need ur characters at 90, thats overinvestment, u just can put at 90 ur main dps characters that wins crit rate or crit dmg and thats it, no problem having ur subdps or utility characers at 80, with the talents the same, talents will be at 8 and not just the 3 of every character just the ones that u need so i dont think spend resin on mora is a good idea, u get mora everywhere...

some tips on building characters and priorities on spending resin: - whenever youre building a character, never build another one at the same time and make sure to spend your resources on that character till theyre fully built especially if theyre a main dps - spending resin on limited time resources is way more important than farming that one artifact domain that will probably give you another def circlet, same with bosses as these are always available - if one of your characters is missing one artifact, let it be, soon enough you'll realize you spent thousands of resin and still couldnt get that perfect flower. farming for a new character entirely will benefit you and your account more than just having one good dps - dont spend fragile resin because you're impatient, sure you want to max that one character already but patience, in this game especially will do you good - NEVER spend 20 resin on mora/hero wits leylines, its pretty much a waste considering how 60k mora and 4-5 hero wits is easy to get, however the rewards are a bit better with condensed resin - make a schedule for farming, now this has personally helped me a lot because now i know when to farm leylines, when to farm bosses, when to farm artifacts talent books etc etc and made it so much easier for me and also less stressful - if you got a bunch of characters at the same time and dont know who to build, focus on who would be more important to your current teams (ex: you have hu tao and just got xingqiu diluc and beidou, now obviously the one you want to invest in first is xingqiu) - levelling from 80-90 actually isnt as bad as people make it out to be, considering high lvl monsters will completely shred you if youre a lower level than them, so having a couple of 90 characters is useful especially in the abyss, however if you dont currently have the mats dont rush it and dont feel forced to level to 90 and better save the resources

I usually go for the unit that gain the most from ascension like zhongli. Aside from its passive at last ascension he also get hp and atk which will make for bigger burst or like Bennett whose benefits from hp to heal and increase base atk for support. Leveling those unit to 90 is worth it but I ran out of mat and currently focusing on those to unit to lv up to 90
