Hi Angela, what type of sources make for a good assignment? I’m coming from a science background where we look strength in data, statistics and peer reviewal. In an MBA where would I be sourcing most of my information?

Hi Mitchell! Not sure I understand the question. MBA admissions essays are about you, your values, and your achievements. Not data, argumentation, or proofs of theses. So it's not about argumentation it's about storytelling about personal actions. Does that help?

We don't ever recommend looking at other people's essays for reference. It will anchor you to other people's ideas and make you think that you need to conform to some mold (the opposite is true!) Even all the books that have past successful essays published by various sources tend to contain many terrible essays that people got admitted in spite of.
