i can't trust knetizens. no matter what they say i can't believe them cause they have occupied this image of an stubborn and ignorant 14 yo who doesn't know better and only spews hate for people they dont personally know. sure min hijin isn't the only person to blame. bang pd nd hybe is too. i expect nothing less from a capitalizing company but i give no shits when knets support hijin. she's weird and pedophilic and with behavior is irratic for me to take her as a rational person. as you said knets have fucked it up so many times with survival shows cause they want the cute handsome trainees for visuals. not the actual vocalists and dancers. and when idols get called out for lip syncing or lack of vocals THEIR the ones jumping first into the hate train when their the ones voting for it lol their so hypocritical it's stupid. i lost so many of my favs in these shows cause they weren't visuals but they had talent and personality. sadly that doesn't mean much for knets.

Just a little note for illit is during the survival show “Runext” I was on social media a lot and hearing from people talk about Knetz opinions of the trainees and they were specifically pointing out how there were a lot of knetz who 1, focused a lot on visual, and 2 didn’t mind if the girls weren’t the best live singers (specifically for members like wonhee) So when I see people talk about their vocals being poor it’s like “well ya’ll knew that from day 1, so what’s with the switch up now??”

With IZ*ONE being the first kpop group i really fell in love with, I very much kept up with the members after disbandment and i could be misremembering, but I swear the websites that like talked about upcoming groups always distinguished between the IZ*ONE member group and Min Heejin's group. If I'm remembering correctly, I feel like it was kinda public knowledge that LE SSERAFIM wasn't NewJeans, but maybe I'm wrong or maybe its sorta both, it was public but they knew most ppl wouldn't know and would still think LE SSERAFIM was Min Heejin's group.

I’m glad you’re back!! TBH I stopped following the kpop culture a few years ago. I’m not familiar with any of the newer groups. My favorite group is KARD. I’ve listened to them since their debut and enjoy all of their music. I’ve seen them a few times when they’ve come to the US. One newer group I do enjoy is XG. I fell in love with them through their documentary series and enjoy their music and would love to see their performance live one day.
