I remember the day I gained (more) respect for D.T. when I attended "Donuts for Dads" at my son's elementary school many years ago. I spoke to him as a man and as a father. I saw in his eyes and demeanor that he was not there to be an artist. I understood what he was there to do. I was happy to meet him in person, but I didn't get offended that he didn't greet me with a smile, lol. He was very humble. I appreciate that his character in person is exactly what he lays on the tracks in the studio. I love how he and Lito "left" the music label industry because they know what others don't. IYKYK!
