Nate Boone was close friends with my family back in the day. To this day him and my uncles call each other “cuz”. He came to my great grandmothers funeral and wept with my uncles. If they ever had a problem, they knew to call “crazy Nate”. My uncles went a completely different path. Even though he was a monster/ legend in Detroit streets; he knew not to curse in front of my elders- or disrespect their home. He’d leave his 357 in the trunk of his car.
