I had a boxer dog called Judy, from 1963, aged 8 to 1970, aged 15. Judy died in 1970 aged 8. I kept playing Ray Charles's single "I can't stop loving you". And I haven't stopped loving to this day, aged 61.

Confirms that integrity and class of the people in the UK back in 68, compared to today. Regression of Progression ? It is a pity that Hollywood has all but assassinated the hearts and minds of youth today, creating the false impression and virtues of gangsta kulcha and denigration of society. RiP Hollywood, It is time for the Swamp to be drained and restore values of integrity, justice and truth- not cancel culture.

I recall this record made the Top Twenty in time for Christmas 1969: remarkable, considering he had pretty well retired by that time after nearly forty years in the business. His biggest hits were in the late 1940s and early 1950s, although he had been a dance band vocalist before WW2..
