The Pakistani students who reach foreign shore have military parents (children of businessmen and politicians are not counted as they naturally manage this). They have their future already assured as their parents already have island all over the world. Now for Indian students studying abroad, they get opportunity in India also, which was not available to them earlier. So credit goes majorly to Indian students but also to government policies especially since 1991 onwards. There is no need to compare any other student all over any where in world to IITians. That is unfair to rest of the students of the world. Anyway total number of new IITians in any given year is not more than 10000 or so. So they are already in short supply.
