@dwaynefritz47558 жыл бұрын
Not exactly, I can't understand how people can watch videos on KZbin but can't operate Google to verify their own statements. Ignorance is not bliss. Trump was a Republican from 1987 - 1999, then he switch to the Independence party from 1999 - 2001, then he switched to the Democrat party from 2001 - 2009. Then He went back to Republican, then quit again with "no party affiliation," then back to a Republican.

That's the one thing I really wish he would do, hike the top tax rate or perhaps create a fourth bracket, say 40% of all earnings over $1 million. If he wants to win for sure in 2020 he'll propose it, even as a temporary solution to fix the debt that sunsets after a few years.

@Rick Simpson You're the one who is wrong, Rick.
@sandytaylor23775 жыл бұрын
@Rick Simpson I guess you don't realize that the "mess that Obama inherited" was of his and his party's own making? The Dems took control of both House and Senate in January 2007, the last two years of Bush's 2nd term. Until then, the economy was damn good, despite 9/11 and two wars. Unemployment was at 4.6% and the national debt was $8.67 trillion. (It started at $5.74 trillion when "W" first took office for a total of $2.93t in 6 years). The Dems began pushing the Community Reinvestment Act, forcing banks and other mortgage companies to give mortgages to minorities without benefit of proof of income, down payments, etc. and when those loans began defaulting, as they were sure to, that is when the economy started collapsing, like a row of dominoes. Obama was a Senator then, and he had done the same thing as a state senator in Illinois, threatening banks with IRS scrutiny, civil rights abuses, etc. if they didn't loan money to minorities. The "mess" he inherited, was of the Dems making, not Bush and the Republicans. In those two years, the national debt increased by another $1.93 trillion for a total of $10.6 trillion. By the time Obama was finished, the debt was almost $21 trillion. There was more racial tension, more debt, the loss of the nation's credit rating, lack of respect of other nations as Obama went on his apology tours overseas to bash our nation. Law enforcement officers being targeted, disrespect for our military and our flag! Trump has seen to it that unnecessary regulations have been eliminated, allowing new start-ups and mom-and-pop businesses to improve drastically. There has been more spending on the military, but it has been necessary because of the cuts Obama had made. Remember all of the generals/admirals, etc. that Obama fired? Planes that couldn't be repaired because of lack of parts? Obama was NOT good for this nation! He had absolutely no business or executive experience.

@Rick Simpson #44 almost tanked, ruined this country, and depleted our military. It can all be researched. Remember Seal Team 6 .. or what happened in Benghazi? kzbin.info/www/bejne/hovMhWtqZdyed6c

All of my friends and family are hard working democrats, every one of them are saying they would vote for Trump. The GOP establishment is really killing themselves if they don't nominate him, they kind of already are killing themselves with that audience they had at the debate in SC. The real question the media should be asking is the establishment more interested in taking him down or winning the White House? Pretty simple question.

+Morpheus I'd bet you were'nt even alive then. You realize this is about the old Bush who didn't do a bad job at all right?
@morpheus67498 жыл бұрын
You just lost that bet. I was very much alive then, and I know full well which Bush he was talking about. Compared to W. Bush, *NO* president did a bad job, including the older Bush. It's not exactly a high bar to clear. But as compared to a slightly higher standard, he was a below average president. There was a reason he wasn't reelected.

+Morpheus And whats the reason W, got elected twice? George Bush Sr. was definately qaulified for the job. And if you knew your history and basic modern politics, you'd know that even W was a bad as the media plays him out to be. Should he have been elected twice? hell no. In my opinion though, Obama isn't handling foreign affairs too much better than Bush.

+Morpheus Bush time in office was a rough time for the US, and a lot of it was made worse by decisions he made. But you must not know other presidents who fucked up this country more. Plus what exactly is Obamas qaulifications? he was a senator and prior to that a community organizer. You can tell by the way he handles things like the military and foreign policy that he walked into something that he really wasnt ready for. He came in twards the end of the iraq and afghanistan conflicts, yet his decision making in my opinion was not to much better than Bush's
