Hate to break it for you, but if anyone actually read Ny law book the punishment for a class e felony is no jail, probation for 1 to 4 years. And yes I researched it, there is not one case in NY that a person with Class E felony went to jail. Usually in appeals it gets cut down to a misdemeanor, and a majority of them get over turned.

The 25th amendment really came around after the assassination of JFK and people realized that technically there was no succession plan laid out in the constitution and that everything was just tradition up to that point and not law. Maybe it’s time for a new amendment that would bar felons from running, being, president.

no other US president has committed crimes that should have been punishable through the courts...so I feel like this is a clean play...our justice system is just calling balls and strikes as they always do (no exceptions) ... I also believe that it's highly unlikely that any sitting or future president will do anything like aid in war crimes or ethnic cleansing or genocide through arms sales because now that a serious crime like those committed by the former president have been adjudicated...why would anyone think they can get away with lesser crimes like helping with a mass murder campaign ?

Judges don’t try cases….prosecutors try them. Judges don’t decide cases in jury trials….jurors do. His lawyers got a say in the selection. It’s not the states fault he picked bad lawyers. I wish the media would cover these points
