While I like the first ad, I wish it was more specific. I realize there are time constraints but say 34 convictions. Instead of saying lowering health care costs spell out a few of the specific things that are making a difference for people. Say specifically why corporations are paying their fair share. And personally, I dislike saying he's 'fighting' for us. Working for us - unlike Trump who golfed instead of working.

While I dissent from some of Kinzinger's views, there are several that we share. I applaud him for his overall support of human rights, including supporting DACA and voting to support access to abortion, the right to contraception, and to pass the Respect for Marriage Act. Most especially, I admire the fact that, despite voting against Trump's first impeachment (which he's said he regrets doing), he's since then willingly sacrificed his own political career to defend democracy and promote bipartisan efforts to better the lives of all Americans, regardless of their political leanings

The message about inflation should be simple. 1. The pandemic did cause some legitimate disruptions to the supply chain and did result in some increased consumer demand, and both of these factors did result in prices for certain items increasing temporarily. 2. Corporations took advantage of these disruptions to raise prices even further in order to increase profits; the President of the United States does not have direct control over setting the prices that private businesses charge their customers. 3. President Biden did institute policies that, on the edges, fight the corporations gouging their customers, and, as a result, the U.S. has experienced lower inflation than the extremes that were experienced by the rest of the world. 4. President Joe Biden, unlike Donald Trump, is continuing to work to tax the windfall profits these businesses overcharged their customers and give it back to the American people through the U.S. government, whereas Trump is wanting to lower taxes for these corporations and billionaires even further.

Worldwide inflation is due to the many worldwide events that have plagued the world, such as Covid, wars and corporate greed. And in context, the inflation in the US is relatively low. The alternative to a fair income tax system is what tRump calls "tariffs", or sales tax. I cannot even imagine how steep the sales tax would be should income tax be eliminated. Sales tax is the most regressive of all taxation because most of the population would pay a disproportionate percentage of their income in sales tax; the higher the income, the less percentage of income paid in sales tax. The wealthy people of the land, who make an ever lower percentage of the population, get wealthier with tRumps policies. Also worth of mentioning is that the wealthy who need an abortion will be able to get it regardless of what the law is. tRump has been able to defend himself from hundreds to court actions unlike the reality of the poor that face the criminal justice system. There is no way one can compare his wealthy, white male privilege to the general population in spite of his repeated delinquent acts such as promoting an "alternative to the truth".

People need to be reminded that almost half of inflation is just straight up price gouging from corporations and the other major expense is housing which is a direct result of the financialization of houses by Wall Street buying all the housing stock cash. As per usual, this show avoids the obvious question? Why does the DNC refuse to do anything about hedge fund managers buying all housing instead of people? Why does the DNC allow the price gouging? Great show! I hadn’t seen the flag commercial yet, but I love it! I agree with everything Adam said about taking our flag back and the idea of freedom. This was something that has bothered me so much over the years, that these people took that identity and aligned it with insurrectionists and Trumpers. I used to always fly a flag outside my house but haven’t since Trump, except certain holidays, because I didn’t want anyone to think I was a Trumper.
