I'm not a GOP but that's probably the first interview I've heard where Mr. Trump was not "ON" so to speak, and he actually came off as a very reasonable and intelligent person. He usually seems egotistic and self promoting, which leads me to believe Donald Trump only cares about Donald Trump, but I didn't get the slightest hint of that here, and he sounded pretty genuine. Props to Cowherd for not attacking his character nor lobbing him softball questions so he could slam his opponents. How about that, a member of the media actually did some real journalism, and the product was pretty darn good. TAKE NOTES HERE.....CNN and Fox news

I am not a Trump supporter but this was a GREAT interview, very professional and Colin didnt try to "get him" with unfair questions, he just asked questions to get information and that is exactly how journalism should be, political journalists are always looking for narrative for their agenda so they ask questions that are meant to fuel that agenda...Colin with the no BS interview with Trump was outstanding :) Respect!

Contrary to some opinions, the press is not there to put a rubber stamp on a politician. The job of the press is to shine light into dark corners. It makes people angry, it stirs up a mess every now and then. But that's what it's there for. The alternative is for a politician to do whatever they want and then to say whatever they want to cover it up, and nobody learns the truth. Donald Trump made it his goal to trash the press. It served his interests to do so. It helped shape the image he was trying to create. But the press's job never changed. They were still there to shine light into dark corners. Trump may not have liked it, but he didn't deserve treatment any different from what nixon, ford, carter, reagan, bush, clinton, bush, or obama got. The press has been making politicians uncomfortable for as long as I've been alive. I don't like it when they shine a light on politicians I voted for, but I want the truth first.
