This has been debunked for a while now. there was one instance of someone killing a goose NEAR Springfield but it was a completely different town. The story originated from a facebook post of someone claiming their friend's daughter's cat had been taken and eaten by their neighbor. The cat was later found perfectly fine and the person who posted it said it was just a rumor her friend heard. Lies like this have caused hospitals and schools to receive bomb threats in Springfield. From what I’ve gathered from both ERB experience, the character aren’t meant to give the best possible performance, but the most accurate. So trump said a bunch of incorrect nonsense that sounds good, while Kamala actually critiqued Trump with tons of actual real things that happened. It's not migrants in general that's the issue. It's that recently over these last few years, there has been an excessive amount of illegal migrants getting around our country's Border Security and bringing in drugs like Fentanyl or committing heinous acts. I assume any reasonable common-sense American is supportive of, and on board with immigrants who come into the country legally through established systems (which aren't perfect and could be improved, for sure.)
