He's been a sheltered prince for his entire life, He isn't well traveled like the suitors or Odysseus....and if you were Penelope, would you really let your child out to be lost like her husband. If it wasn't for Athena he'd probably still be stuck in Ithaca instead of becoming Legendary

Jorge shared a really cool breakdown with Athena and the theme of friendship, how she would sing straight notes then Ody got her to sing in a riff, then at the "breakup" song she goes back to staight notes with "my goodbye" and now Telemachus sings a riff of his own matched in harmony with Athena singing Ody's riff ❤ ah!

Telemachus is 20, exactly. He was an infant held in Odysseus's arms just shortly before he left for war. Odysseus spent 10 years fighting the war in Troy and another 10 years on The Odyssey Itself

I believe the subtle choir is meant to imply that athena is watching. It's sorta like when Ody sings "You are Athena, badass in the Arena" and a choir accompanies him; that's actually Athena summoning it for him cuz she's singing about him

Beating up Telemachus definetely is not the way to win Penelope's heart, but suitors also see him as a threat and would like to get rid of him. He is the heir of Odysseus, so if Penelope doesn't marry soon, Tememachus can probably make his own claim on the throne, and suitors plans would be screwed. I believe at this point they are just looking for the excuse for getting him out of their way.

Remember from Just a Man - "you're as old as he was when I left for war". So Telemachus was born but still a baby, and is 20 at this point. Odysseus was at Troy for 10 years, then the events up to Thunderbringer took 3, then the '7 years later' time jump happens.

Telemachus was not yet 1 when Ody left, so he's almost 19 (if Ody left right after birth) through almost 21 (if Tele was almost 1), depending on exact birthdates. You're thinking ten years because that's how long Ody was traveling, but it was 20 years total- 10 at the Trojan war, 10 trying to get back home.

I definitely do get you connecting Telemachus' "legendary" with pop punk, that genre definitely is the epitome of being ab angsty teen (maybe emo a bit more so) However when you'd put it like that, my mind directly went to Fall Out Boy, if I remember that properly, their singer is in similar range and has kind of a compatible timbre. Antinous really do be giving me the creeps, slimy, devilish, seductive seem like such a good ways to describe his vocals (in all the good ways of course, he's a villain) Also, I love having Teagan/ Athena actively in with her friends and family here ❣️

Ody left shortly after Telemachus was born. He is around 20 almost 21 years old at the point of this song. Part of why the suitors don't respect him is that in that time he should be a fully established adult by now ( greek men were considered adults around 14 or so) and he has done nothing to prove himself yet.

So it's not actually that I'm behind -- I'm VERY on top of my schedule haha everyone around me could tell you. But you bring up something important -- the reason my Epic vids are behind is because my channel isn't dedicated entirely to Epic, and Mason and I try to have videos uploaded to YT a month ahead of time to make sure we can clear all copyrights before sharing publicly. I love making videos for this piece, otherwise I wouldn't do it, but I still have a ton of other artists I regularly make videos for on the channel (and am always looking for new ones!)

Telemachus was a baby, about a year old, when Odysseus went to war. In the Odyssey, the reason Odysseus even goes to war is because Telemachus' life is threatened. Odysseus has been gone 20 years during the time of Legendary and Little Wolf, making Telemachus 20-21 ish. But let's be real, 20 year olds DO still have that teen angst carrying over and he's meant to be naïve or sheltered in a way which adds to the way he's characterized.

In the infant and the horse, Odysseus makes a comment about when he left his son was about his age. The Trojan War was 10 years. The events of the Odyssey take place another 10 years. 20 years since Odysseus left to fight in the Trojan War. I could be wrong about the song from the Troy saga

Telemachus is 20 at this point in the story the animators just drew him as an angsty teen and the dog Argos is pretty old at this time. The Ithaca saga will destroy you be prepared.

The 10 years you’re probably thinking of is the Trojan war. That lasted for 10 years and Telemachus was an infant when Odysseus was made to leave for war (which an infant ranges between 1-12 months old). And it takes Odysseus another 10 years after that to get home. So at the very most, Telemachus is 21, but it’s more likely he’s 20! But given he’s had no father, no training, and no real experience with the outside world (meaning outside of Ithaca), he comes across as rather naive! Edit: Also not Alexander Ayron 😂
