Nah, every 4 years this line is rolled out and it will never not be rolled out. Every election is claimed as the most important, but you will never hear the parties say that the previous election was more important and that you can sit this one out. In reality, things will be alright no matter who gets elected, and if neither party convinced you to vote FOR their candidate, only against the other guy, then they failed, and you should feel no shame in not voting.
